Uggg, made my order from Nhaler and goodprophets! now i'm just waiting.....and....waiting.....and....waiting....granted I just ordered lastnight and today, what should I do while I am in this state of anxiousness?

I also watched the comprehensive video for noobs...I quite enjoyed it, some great stuff in there from Spikey, and others....

But I was bummed when Spikey told me I need to let my batteries charge for a minimum of twelve hours???!?!! 8-o

I know I know, the answer is probably you HAVE to let them charge that long, but has anyone had any similar experiences where that had to charge them that long? My model is a 510...

also, I'd like to get acquainted with folks 'round here. So my real name is Ryan, my username is showing my love for Carvin musical instruments. I am an avid guitar player, I am a sales associate at Sears. I am from southeastern Oklahoma, I have all the tenancies of a southern boy, I've got the accent, and I like to hunt. However, I've lived in many places throughout my youth that have helped me from becoming a complete and total redneck. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing/sales.

Hit me back guys, I'd like to meet some of....Ya'll.....see...told you so....

carvinite, You landed in the right spot for answers and good people for sure. yes you need to charge the batts for 8 to 12 hours, depending on what you instuctions tell you..but from then on 4 hours or whatever your green light tells you.
I am glad you are using your time wisely, I had computer images burned into my brain before my first e-cig hit the door! I also knew I had made a mistake with my orders..lol Oh well I lived and now I am 3 months with no analogs. Keep reading and start your search for the best carry all for your gear and where to put your liquids and such! You may want to locate all your wall plugs, we seem to need them all!
Your interests sound varied and well rounded. Thats great! Education never goes unused.
Welcome to ECF Ryan..pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Things to do while waiting for batteries to charge.

Twiddle thumbs.

Watch a Sponge Bob Square pants Marathon.

Stick a fork in the toaster, and see if what they say is true.

Count how many Cocoa Puffs you can put up your nose.

Flush the toilet, and try to make the water spin the other way.

Fill your washing machine with Mr. Bubble.

Get your Drivers License renewed. (Guarantied all day.)

Some of the suppliers charge batteries before mailing them. Email whichever one you bought from and see if they did. If so you can go at it right away :). I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, I know I would have lost my mind if I had had to wait 12 hours for them once I finally got them in the house. And Welcome!

As Moonflame said, some manf's send at least one of the batteries with a little charge, OOOhh that's good when they do that....charge the others though! (I did that, the battery went dead after only a few days but was worth the $18, that was the day I smoked my last cigarette!)
But most of all, I wanted to know how you avoided becoming a Red Neck, was wondering if there was something I could do for my husband.....education-wise. (Keep in mind he's bigger than I am, and has some issues!)

Lol, Mr. Davis, I liked your suggestions. Vapr_life as well!
MaryKay, Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Thanks for the info on the batteries guys! I'll have to shoot the supplier an e-mail.

Kate51, to be truthful, I moved around a bit (Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Nebraska, and finally Oklahoma, all by the time I was 19) and this enabled me to have a very eclectic set of friends from all different backgrounds. That's really how I avoided it, I was hanging out with all kinds of different folks! I also read alot....alot... ;)
good to me you all.

I wouldn't worry about the batt's I have been volt testing and charging my 10 batts with different break in procedure's and they all run the same as far as I can conclude. If your batts have any charge you can vape away while one charges. LI-ions have no memory and some of the modders believe these may be lipo's so they really dont have to be broken in. You can unplug or recharge any time you want

Got my 510 in the mail today!!!!!!and I have been vapin away! Charged one of my batts till the light went green, stuck a cart in and away I went....cough, cough....wheeww. This stuff is strong, He gave me the high strength 555 flavored carts, and it made me cough, my boss cough, my friend cough. The throat hit is almost unbearable!!!! (notice i said almost ;) I'm mostly guessing it's because im still breaking in my atty. I also think a weaker nicotine content would help, I think that is part of the burn im feeling. I need some more juice!!!

and I want to buy a 306 exposed atty for direct dripping, it's too hard to do on this 510 for me.

and a quick question to all of you manual battery owners out there, do you ever notice that when you take a drag and release the button and you finish that there's still a little bit of vapor coming from the cart? I've started dragging just before and just after I press the button to make sure I get all the vapor

It's a step up from letting them watch The Simpson's, Elendil. MHO Are you back in Illinois or are you still being contributing to our tourism?

Hope you enjoyed it.

Carvinite, that would explain why my husband couldn't escape it, they kept him down on the farm a little too long, he inherited way too many "guy" things. Yah, it is hereditary!

I'm with you Elendil! I sorta thought it was cute for the first 10 minutes..after that it was just torture! I made him watch some movies with me..but he kept going back to Bob or the game..which is worse because he had to repeat each level 20 times before he could go to the next ...groan The next day it was "Witches on Deck with Hannah Montana!" At least the older one was into Star Wars.
