Anyone have any suggestions on blends with/percentages of/...anything (!) on the following flavors that I can't seem to get right

Green Tea- tastes like a flower, even after steeping

cinnamon roll- tastes like...I don't even know

Hypnotica- (which is NOT hypnotic mist...read it wrong when buying)

Horchata-...again...I don't know

vanilla butternut- I'm going to be honest here, I have only added it to one mix, and the mix was horrible, so now I am afraid of it lol

any ideas? I hate having completely unlovable flavors :(

Omgoodness, I am completely in love with a green tea vape as the weather is getting warmer. I use VZs green tea super concentrate and mix it with peach, lemon, dragonfruit, or a mix of all 4 together. A touch of koolada is nice with it as well. I will agree that the flavoring smells very flowery in the bottle, but it doesn't translate in the taste (for me).

What brand is it? And what % are you mixing at?

Lol- you guys crack me up

Green tea and hypnotica are TFa

Cinnamon roll, horchata, vanilla butternut are loranns

I have considered the DIY swap board, but I don't see much traffic there and I really don't know what flavors I would want anyway! I only have about 20 or so and it seems every time I read a recipe I go "nope, don't have that flavor either"

For example, mixed with butter rum? Nope, don't have that flavor :) lol

As for percentages- I tried 5% on the cinnamon roll bc I was scared of it then I didn't try anything again (lol)

I can't find my notes for the others bc it has been so long since I tried. Probably about 10%, and I know I tried mixing my green tea in with a pear pre-made juice, adding I think 5% but it never got un-flower shop for me. I also tried 10% on the Green tea alone and Blech!

I can list off all the flavors I own if y'all are really feelin like helping out a flailing mixologist (sniffle) :)

i'll help in any way i can.

have you looked at the recipes section? you can also search the flavor in just the recipes sub-forum to get an idea of percentages.
to me, 5% sounds really low as a single flavor.
the advice i have seen the most (that I personally haven't followed LOL) is to do single flavor mixes at different percentages in small quantities to get familiar with the flavoring and go from there.

Have you let them steep for a week or two? That can really help. But I find adding lemon or cotton candy or sour can work wonders on some iffy juices. Also sweet cream added to really mellow out an iffy flavor also does wonders. Have fun! bnrk

I have let them steep, yes- I have continued going back to them for as long as a month. I don't have lemon or sour, I do have cotton candy and sweet cream though.

Do you have a peach or brown sugar? Horchata goes very well with them. Sort of like a lightly cinnamon spiced peach. I haven't used Loranns version, I have TFA and to me it's very potent. I never use over 2% Horchata in a mix, but then I'm kind of sensitive to cinnamon flavorings in general. No problem with the real thing.
OK, here- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/406661-peachy-glee.html This is Mike's recipe and it's really good. I posted in the thread the percentages I tried but have since went to just brown sugar with it at 2%, no cotton candy. If you don't have the honeysuckle, you might try more peach or pear or some other light fruit that to you would be good with a touch of cinnamon IRL.

How do you like it with the TFA Brown Sugar?

It's awesome with brown sugar. I haven't tried the original recipe, I have no regular cinnamon flavor. I did get some EM here in the meantime and I tried it but to me it's a little...I don't know how to describe it. Since I got that email from TFA, I know that brown sugar extra most likely contains EM, but there's gotta be more to it.

Thanks, I do have all of those flavors so I'll mix up a batch. :vapor:

If you are sensitive to Cinnamon you can substitute it in favor of Nutmeg (I like Nutmeg on Peaches others don't) it's called TFA Holiday Spice.

I just mixed some with TFA Peach (Juicy) so it hasn't steeped long enough for me to say how good it is or isn't.
