Hi all,
I've been vaping for approximately 3 years but when it comes to all the lingo I'm basically a beginner.

I've been using a joyetech eGo Aio for the last 2 years mainly with 40pg/60vg liquids with a .6 coil and I've had no problems.

Recently I purchased a large quantity of Oh My God liquids that are 50/50 and other 30ml that are 20pg/80vg liquids. The guy in my local store recommended that I use a .5 coil with these liquids but when I do the device spits hot liquid at me constantly and I dont get any great flavor.

For this reason I'm considering buying another device solely for these liquids. I was thinking of one of the following as they are inexpensive

1. joyetech eVic Primo Mini with ProCore Aries Atomizer.

2. Kangertech Subox Mini C Vape Kit 18650 Battery 50W Box Mod With 3ML Atomizer.

3. KangerTech Dripbox e-cigarettes Kanger Drip Mod With Subdrip 0.2ohm evaporator 60W.

Will either of these devices be good for these types of liquids?
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

As far as your Ego AIO, it's known to have that spitback issue with the .5 coil. I had the same issue and it was recommended for me here to use the .6 coil.

VG is thick and syrupy. PG is thin and watery. They both feel kind of "oily" to the touch, but neither are true oils; both are technically "sugar alcohols" (not the kind that gets you drunk) and are water-soluble. The 50/50 juice is half PG and half VG. Your 40/60 that you've been using has a little more VG so it's slightly thicker, and the 20/80 that you got has even more so it will be even more thicker. If the .6 coil worked fine on your 40/60, then it should have no problem with the thinner 50/50. 20/80 might be too thick for it to wick properly if the .6 coil has insufficiently-sized juice-flow ports (sorry I'm not familiar with the actual device, so I'm speaking in a general sense, here), but the juice you have now is in between those other two new ones you got, so even if you did need a different coil for one of them, you wouldn't also need (at least the same) different one for the other juice, too. That would be like saying "your medium-sized hammer is fine for nails and stuff, but you want this big sledgehammer for railroad spikes, and also use the same sledgehammer for little thumbtacks." Okay bad analogies aside, even if you did want to use the sledgehammer for the railroad spikes, you still wouldn't want it for the thumbtacks. But that guy doesn't really care what you're gonna use it for, he's just trying to sell you another hammer.

Thanks for your replies. I've tried the .6 coils with the new liquids and I'm just not happy with the drag and taste I get. I also get the spitback from them just like I do with the .5 coil.
Has anyone any experience with the devices I have mentioned above?
Am I right in thinking because they can alter the power, unlike my device, I should get a better vape from the liquids?
Ive never used a device with an alternating power.

what I have found is that a wick that is loosely fitted in/around the coil has more of a tendancy to create "spatter"...

Ive rewicked the same coil with a heavy dose of rayon and no issues but when I do a light loading of rayon in the same coil it gets spitty... and the juice is the same on both builds...

This would be my first choice of the 3 you listed but keep in mind you will need to get a few GOOD 18650 batteries and a charger to go with it.

Also, your flavor problem may just be the juice. I've never tried that brand but some are just better than others.
