First of all, let me say HI EVERYONE! I am excited to join the community!

My name is George, I'm 34 years old, from Grand Rapids, MI. I have recently made the switch from all analogues to all electronics, and feel GREAT!

Recently Michigan was added to the growing list of states that have decided to ban smoking in public places. It wasn't until that happened that I honestly decided that I either needed to quit or find an alternative... Well I saw a guy at work outside "vaping" (we aren't quite able to do that at our desks yet), and approached him for more information. After talking with him, and taking a few drags off of his e-cig, I was totally excited about searching for my own - So the hunt began...

Being a complete newbie to the world of e-cigs, I ended up buying a starter kit from The Safe Cig. I will say that it is actually quite a good product, and has only gotten better once I learned (via the forums and YouTube) how to refill the cartomizers instead of ordering new ones all the time, but I digress...

Then the vaping bug bit me.... I am now anxiously awaiting the delivery of my new Totally Wicked 510 Titan (in gold w/ blue LED), various supplies, liquids, etc... I have to say, even spending what I have over the past few weeks, it still seems less than cartons of cigarettes...

vape ON! :D

PS - My sister and my hair stylist are both thinking of converting over too!

East coast.
Congratulations! I am new to vaping as well (tomorrow will be a week). This is a great forum with really good folks.

Me too! Another newbie herel (about 4 days in - see banner in my sig)
The folks in this forum are really great, I agree wholeheartedly.

Its so nice that your sister and hairstylist are thinking about switching! Spread the word and recommend it to all your friends and loved ones that smoke. Life is much too precious to mess around with and vaping is fun, much safer than analogs, and is all around a super-tasty feel-good habit to have!

wardge, great to see yet another Michigander join the flock! Welcome. You live in a great city. My wife and I love to visit G.R. We'll be coming later this summer for Artprize and another visit to Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Congrats on the switch over to vaping. You certainly won't regret it. It cured me of my 40 year tobacco habit over night. I haven't had a cig since February 4th. There's a lot more messing around with the gadgets compared to smoking but it's so worth it. Good luck and happy vaping.

Congratulations on quitting Analogs & on choosing the Titan 510!
Keep us posted!

do agree that the peeps on the forums are great. I have spent a fair bit of time reading posts trying to avoid making mistakes before I start vaping. I haven't seen anything but supportive and helpful members who take the time to answer questions I'm sure the same ones a few times to help out those that need the info.

Brand new myself and I have made to feel very welome ;)
