I can't watch videos at work. Is it a carto tank? If so, steel tube inside is a cartomizer that has been sold as or user-done prepunched or preslotted so it has 1-2 holes in its metal sidewall. It may need to be prefilled a bit, then inserted through the middle of the tank, the tank is filled with liquid which surrounds the cartomizer and enters through the hole(s) in the carto's sidewall. Then ends of the carto extend above the tank (to add a mouthpiece) and below the tank (to screw into the battery)

If you get everything set up right, it lets you use a cartomizer but not have to add juice nearly as often. It is more suited to someone who only vapes one flavor when out. If someone likes to switch flavors a lot then plain cartomizers are a better choice.
---

Somebody who can watch the video can help if that is not what it is. If you mean the tank is "above" rather than around, that may be an Ego-C - dunno - I cannot see it. Got self-appointed bandwidth police here at work.

That is the Katana mod. The tank internals are part of the unit and built on it. The tank sleeve slides slide over the internals and then it is filled. That is a rebuildable atomizer on top so no cartos or conventional type atomizers are needed.

That mod is built in very limited numbers and hard to obtain.

Not worried so about the mod, just the tank on top. So the lower part holds the juice but the top is an exposed 'rebuildable atomizer (what does that mean/hows it work)' and how does the juice get there, just a piece of wix?

a piece of fine rolled stanless steel mesh screen is threaded thru a hole in the top base of atomizer down into the tank. That is the wick. A piece of resistant wire is wrapped around the mesh and connected to each of those screws and is the atomizer.

The mesh wicks juice up around the wire and "poof" we have ignition :)

It's just your basic starter kit.

All joking aside the Katana is an advanced design PV with a built in tank. Not exactly what the average vapor would want, or would be able to use effectively.
For the advanced user, they are quite the deal.
