Now that I've discovered the world of clearomizers, I've been eyeing some of the pretty drip tips out there. I've realized that some of the plastic-type ones can be as gorgeous (and expensive!) as the glass, wood etc. And the metal ones seem relatively cheap for the most part. I'm wondering what type of tip you prefer to use, and feel free to explain why in the comments.

Delrin is my first choice. I've had acrylic, glass and plastic snap off or break. Metal is either cold or heats up too quickly, plus it can add an off taste. The stone/resin ones I've had are too bulky.
Stainless Steel or Titanium. Durable and inexpensive. I've got a stainless steel drip tip from Ninja mods with a GIGANTIC opening that makes dripping that much easier. The metal also matches all my rda/rba setups and looks nice on stainless steel cartomizers. I like to keep a clean uniform look on my mods 
In the winter, on a all metal atty, on a metal mech... anything but metal - they get damn cold.

Right now the plastic, going to order an few of the other types to see any difference. I'm more of a functional over form person. So when I find the one I like, I will not care if it matches the tank or device.
ss tips look great but at low ohm they always burn my lips. acrylics are cheap and do a good job for me
A good dual o-ring stainless steel tip will not get hot. If you haven't tried one I would definitely suggest it.
I love the look of stainless but ever since I got my pyrex RSM drip tip I've used nothing else. It's very comfortable, it never gets hot, and I think it looks awesome
I am recanting this statement I made months ago, now that I use a dripper, the tip I use is very important. I like the SS tips, well mainly a LARGE BORE drip tip, it was a Vapelife changer. The Large Bore is so much better than the standard bore tip. Looks awesome too. People ask where I got it and I tell them about a local B&M that had it, also I only paid $7.00 which was really a great price for convenience.

Metal Mouth and Polymer Polly still neck and neck -- Polymer Polly now leading by a nose with Glass Globe coming on strong up the middle and it looks like a photo finish .... Whoever wins it looks like no joy for Morning Wood and Oliver Stone, now bringing up the rear.
I like titanium tips, because they are not as cold or heat up as fast (at least for me).
Mostly, I just need a drip tip I can gnaw on. Plastic ones tend to end up looking like the dog got ahold of them. Yuck. I'm hard on most of my equipment, actually. Dangit.... another opportunity for growth.
