There are actually only two versions of the nova. The V1 had some major problems. The V2 can be had with several different wick configurations (one of which is called the 2.5) The nice part is that you can use any replacement head that you want.

Thanks! That was simple enough.
Now they are going to start calling the V2.5 by different names depending on the ohms rating of the coil installed just to confuse us again! ;-)

actually just got one from altsmoke this week for a friend to use and it was a version 1 with the airholes in the base . I then ordered the v2 from gotvapes

Ha then I got to place an order.. I can't wait to try the 2.5. I don't feel so bad getting the version 1 because I was ordering a silver bullet at the time so it got me to the point where shipping was free and it made the nova free.

imo i do not like the vivi nova i bought one and i think it mutes the flavor too much ill stick with my stingrays but this is just my opinion everyone likes diffrent things

I thought that too at first, especially with this latest coil that I installed. But after a while.. the flavor starts to come through and now it's wonderful. Play around with it at different voltages. I start very low and work my way up.

I got my vision vivi nova mini 2.5ml (gv-MiniViviNova510-2.4ohm) in the mail today and was a little let down it didn't come with extra coil heads like the vision vivi nova 3.5ml (gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5) did but i knew that was the deal when i ordered it.
I got the mini nova to put on my ego mini 350mah i got a few days ago and even though it looks great togather the vape production with the mini+mini is very poor. I was very disappointed in it but i have yet to try anything like changing the coil head for a lower ohm opne, which i feel would help. but i did switch it over to my ego twist 1000mah set to 4.0 volts and was very very pleased with the vapor production. Its right up there with it's big brother and it has not even got broke in yet.
I did try the larger tank on the mini ego 350 mah and got fairly good vapor from it but after checking the ohm on it i see it has a 1.8 head on it so that confirms my theory that the mini should do as well with a lower ohm on the lower mah ego but most importantly the lower voltage.
In other words. The vivi mini and vivi nova tank are great and the changable coil heads make them suitable for lower voltage as well as for higher voltage.. I really like them and have plans on getting a couple more to put away for spares.
thanks and have a great weekend,Rob.

I'm still not sure why the V1 gets such a bad revue. I have 2 of the V1s, and granted, they need a little bit of tweaking with the positive post, but once that is done, they work pretty well. I think the main design theory with the side air holes on the bottom cap was to eliminate the possibility of not enough space at the mount point with some batteries. I also prefer the longer wicks, which I believe is part of the V2.5 offering now. Heck, you can rebuild the heads to whatever you want no matter what version, so other than the center post being too long, which can be filed down, I can't see what all the fuss is all about myself. Mine still work a treat after a few months of use.

I just bought one of these from GotVapes. Mine works GREAT, but it has a very tight draw. I noticed on some that the bottom cap has holes in it, and mine does not. Would a bottom cap with holes give me a lighter draw? And if so, can I buy just this piece? I thought I ordered v2.5 but maybe not. It looks identical to Lumpia's pics.

Any other suggestions on how to get a lighter draw out of these things????
