I initially bought 2 kits with the regular auto batteries - 2 black and 2 white. They still work fine, though they don't see much action. I quickly moved to the manual XL's.

My very first "V4L" battery was 2 regular white batteries with the orange LED but they also had a faint gold full length logos that looked really classy. Still using one of those.

Ahhh my first VK... about a year ago now. Shiny black auto, gold lines all around it... orange LED... nice big air holes. I still have my originals, they actually still work, but I don't use them much for fear of losing them. I feel like they are collector's items to me. I should put them on eBay, but I don't think I could ever part with them.
same for me, with the green led's...... got 2 of'em on the first order.... and they are both in regular use to this day!
A pink full logo passthru followed by a Blue full logo blue batt..both are still puffing away! Thanks Steve!
Lime Green Auto. It's long since toast, but it sits in the stash still for some reason.
