How did it progress from there? I'm ashamed to say but the first ever E-Cig i ever purchased was the blu in the menthol version... Once I tried it I knew it wasn't going to stop me from smoking because there as very little vapor, and it didn't really feel much like smoking.. So I gave up on e-cigs for a good 2-3 months... I then was in the gas station and saw the "Logic Pro Advanced" that came with juice cartridges. This is how it really all started. I felt like I was actually smoking a cig with them. Then I was out vaping on it at lunch break at work and a fellow co worker had an "Ecto 1300" I believe.. He showed me how at the bottom it had variable voltage and a large tank to fit ANY juice of your liking. So I HAD to have that after hearing all the amazing flavors he had and smelt some of them. So at this point I was mainly a tootie (sp?) puffer. Well after having this I went to the local vape shop and saw them blowing plumes of smoke and found it fascinating.. because mine would blow out about 1/8th of what theirs were doing. So then I asked the guy at vape shop what should be my next step up.. This is when I really started to get into vaping.. I purchased the Ego one and put my very first "sub-ohm" coil head in there at .5 ohms... Man did I think I was cool. I was getting a lot of different flavors that tasted amazing and started to get plumes of smoke. From then on I took the typical route. I shortly after wanted a box mod, purchased the m80 plus by SMOK and my FIRST ever RDA which I was fascinated at, along with the "Artic" sub ohm tank. Needless to say I became hooked.. before you knew it I learned to build my own coils, bought more RDA'S, etc.. Now I've got the IPV3LI with a SMOK TFV4 tank on top, and when I'm at home have a handful of RDA'S to use.. So now here I am 8 months free of smoking and always looking for new vape stuff to buy! I sware it's an addiction.. So how did your journey start and how did it progress? Interesting to hear other peoples stories. Cheers!

I think the first one I purchased was a disposable cigalike.
Then I looked for a refillable system and got a rebranded v-nano type which is what did it for me; I got an ego-c which turned out to be a waste of time, but the v-nano worked on the ego batts;
I got some ce4 types which I never got quite working.
The v-nano is not replaceable coil so eventually they died, and by that time I'd gotton 4 protanks, and for a year I was rebuilding protank coil heads.

    I also started with a Blu - gave up on 'vaping' for months and then 'upgraded' to their newer unit. Better but still not enough so stepped into a local vape shop and picked up a iClk! kit and some juice. While all three were horridly over priced the later was enough to get me off analogs. 3x replaceable battery tube mods later I had enough with the factory atomizers and switched over to RTA's and TC box mods.

    Currently I have 4 TC mods (+one on the way) and DIY my own juice. I've recently taken a stroll down memory lane (have TON's of factory atomizers left over) and started reusing/converting my Aspire Maxi and K1's to TC. My old iClk! currently 'lives' on the bathroom counter - for those times when I did not bring a mod with me and I'd like a few puffs. ;)

    I started with ovale eclipse. I just wanted to try new thing it is a new toy for me. I had no intention to stop smoking at that time as I had given up quitting smoking due to failure in hundreds if not thousands of my attempts during good 30 years. When I vape I found myself can stay without cigarette so I keep on vaping to see how long I can do it. 2 years have passed and my new journey of vaping begins. I used Ovale Eclipse for 1.5 years till I ran out of atomizer so I upgrade to Ego One along with Evic VT that have atomizer available here. Shortly after that I bought iStick TC40W because its TC comes in smaller size.

    My first was a $15 Puff brand pen style device bought in a tobacco store. My cigs went from 25 to 5 with no effort so after a few days I went to a vape shop and got a Nautilus mini and Spinner 2 battery. Today I'm vaping a temp control device with rda clones and home made eliquid. The first year cost me about $1000 for everything (compared to $3,000 for cigs). The second year is going to cost less than $400. $50 of that will be eliquid and the rest for toys.

    Did the cigalike 0mg cause I was trying to quit that lasted 3 hrs. Got a 650mah and ce4 combo a few yrs later and that lasted a full day before having issues. Fast fwd 6 months I get an RDA and an iLeaf 50w which put me at 50/50 analog to digital. Then I found the subtank. I couldn't stop vaping! I recently went to temp control with the snowwolf 200w and enjoy it very much on the go!

    Itaste VV4, with a protank mini 3 setup. That was my first intro to vaping. How has it progressed? It's spiraled out of control. I have 7 mech mods, 2 of which are dual parallel copper box mods(No, not the cherry bomber). too many subtanks(all 3 sizes), 2 melo tanks, an arctic, a freemax starre, countless drippers, rolls upon rolls of wires and too many batteries. I started this is February. My wife thinks I have a problem.

    Started out trying the NJoy King just to see if it would work. It gave me the feeling I was "smoking" so I knew it might work. I was getting ready for a business trip and a friend of my brother posted a picture of his travel kit on his facebook page, saying he was celebrating 1 year smoke free. I took a look at that and decided I would try that instead of the NJoys. Found a local vape shop and the guy there walked me through getting exactly what I said I wanted even though he knew I would need more (650 mah VV and CE4 clearomizer, 18mg menthol juice). Only took that kit with me on the trip and haven't had a cigarette since. I've upgraded quite a bit since then, though.

    Very first was metro kit from a gas station. Tasted bad, gave me a sore throat, so I bought a smaller cigalike from e-cig. com. Don't remember the model, they don't carry it any more. Getting refills was too hard, the shipping was too long, shelved it and gave up for a few years. Last year I decided to try again, bought a blu kit, sucked, bought a V2 kit, all at local gas stations. V2 was the one that killed smoking for me, stayed with it for almost a month before I bought my first ego (a no name 650 pass through that I found at a B&M) and spent a year trying different egos and tanks. Finally this past summer, settled on a sobox mini kit and couldn't be happier. I'm about to hit 19 months without a cigarette, what a great and fun journey it has been.

    WOW! 8 months smoke free. Congrats! I guess that I am just starting my journey then. Ego-U luxury kit with 24mg/ml ejuice was a failure, then failing to stop smoking for a year with nicotine substitutes for a year or so... Then, tried some blu sticks and just stopped vaping after few puffs. Got a Spinner II few weeks ago works so far but I am already frustrated by its power limitations. My next step will be a Temperature controlled device from eleaf with Nautilius tank. It seems that making my own juices is what will take me further by controlling the composition of my juice.
