Welcome.
@Crystaldm Getting through all the side affects of quitting like coughing, burning throat, losing vape taste.

All above post got you pretty well covered. But this part IMO could be the brand of juice your are using and the nic mg.

I had to reduce mine to 12mg from 18mg and tried different vendors and flavors (like NO cinnamon for me) although I do like it.

I use the nautilus bvc 1.6 and 1.8 at 10 to 12 watt over the mini triton 1.8 clapton and 1.2.. they may be good in the mini Triton (IDK) but I didn't like em.

I am fairly new to this vaping, it has been two weeks. Getting through all the side affects of quitting like coughing, burning throat, losing vape taste. But my big ques is what to vape at. I have an aspire nautilus with 20watt, on 1.8ohm bvc. Juice is 70/30 I believe. I read the charts and read some forums. Some say 8 watts and others say 11-12 watts. I just want a good taste. What is my best option for wattage? And not burn my coils or my throat.

Try different wattage until you find what works for you. If it tastes like it is burned back off a watt or three and stay there. Burning cotton tastes horrible.

Are you getting dry hits? If so you may need to go down to 60%VG or 50%VG been a while since i used Nautilus mini and dont remember the juice inlets.

My daughter treated herself to the Nautilus Mini a few weeks ago, on an impulse, while she and her boyfriend were at our very, very good local vape shop seeking help for a problem the boyfriend was having with his Subox Mini. She vapes 18 mg nicotine, with pg/vg ranging anywhere from 50/50 to 30pg/70vg, and has had no problems with the Nautilus. I don't know if she has played much with the voltage/wattage on the Innokin VV v3 that I got her for Christmas. All I can say is that she really likes the Nautilus Mini, and the coils seem to be lasting longer for her than the Kanger single or dual coils that we use for our Evod Glass tanks. We both enjoy sweet, dessert, creamy, custard eliquids that can be a problem for some coils.

I may see if I can squeeze out the money to get her another one for Mothers' Day.

When you vape above 10 is that burning almost like flame noise normal?
Yeah that's normal. I don't really notice it anymore though since I use kanger subtanks as well. Those sound like a plane taking off compared to the nautilus.
And to throw in my two cents with your questions, with the 1.8ohm coils (mine always read as 2ohm) i find right on 10W is the magic number. I sometimes go to about 12 with sweet flavors. But anything higher than 10 with fruit flavors tastes like sucking on a muffler. They tend to last a long time as well. I usually get at least 2 weeks out of every coil going through about 4ml a day on each. I think I'm at 3 weeks right now with one, and it survived getting accidentally fired at subtank power around 30w. Tasted weird for a bit but it's back to normal. They're good coils.
