Tootle-puffers don't even go that high. You might not get a satisfying vape off of it. Generally, tootlers only go up to 2.5. I stay around 1.8. Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators Try again, or take that coil off, unwrap one round, and see what that gives you.
A little more info would have helped answer your question:
What batteries (or battery device) are you using (brand & model number)?
What gauge wire are you using?
Without knowing the above, I'd say start at a lower wattage (say around 8 watts) and increase the power in small increments until you find what YOU like. If it begins to taste burnt, back off the power.
3.6 ohm would be considered pretty high ohms for most RDA users. I recommend new coil builders start around 1.0 ohm until they feel more proficient in building coils.
It all comes down to the wire gauge you're using, the atty it's in and how many coils it's spread over. It's not wrong to build at 3.6 ohms if that's the right setup for the way you want to vape. Steam Engine is your friend here. State O' Flux has put together some really good info on how use the calculator.
OTOH, if you start low in watts, try it and increase slowly until you get a good vape you can't go wrong. Good luck with it
3.6 ohm is so high that you will have to crank those watts to get any decent kind of vape. As high as it goes, really. Those coils must be an insane amount of wire.
Earlier he said he had 24 gauge wire and a Jellyfish mod. I don't know if he used that for this coil but if so something isn't right. Especially if you built dials like you were talking about. Let us know what you're using here a we can better help you
