Right, they do.

Very first pics of it didn't appear to have a changeable drip tip but now they do....

Back to my non-tank topic...
They also work great on Visions, Spinners, and mods between 3.7 and 4 volts. I honestly don't think that anything beats the volume of vapor and the taste when they're properly filled. On top of everything else, they can be cleaned easily and re-used. I just run hot tap water through them, let them dry, and put them back in service. I've tried a variety of the new stuff, and I always come back to the EMDCC.

I was just about to search best way to fill them, as I just got them in the mail. Tips?

The very best way to fill them is with a syringe along the side where you can go deep close to the coil wrap. But no syringe, then drip along the side of the carto (hold it at an angle) until you get ejuice on the top. Let it sit for a bit and then fill more until the whole filler is saturated. Stay away from the center part or you'll flood it.

As soon as you detect any drop in flavor, refill. If you go past that point to burnt flavor, there's no recovery because the sock/wrap around the coil is burnt and you taste that no matter how much cleaning you do.

Thanks! I do still have syringes from eRoll days! :)

Usually something one doesn't want to carry around but it is the 'best' way to fill most cartos - gets ejuice where it needs to be to prevent burn. Also there's the 'taryn spin' where you fill it well, spin it in a lanyard - batt connection outward, then refill, repeat... that works well too.

To fill an EMDCC:

1 - One of the main goals is to fill it slowly and evenly.
2 - My methods are similar to Kent C's, but a little bit different.
3 - You need something with a blunt needle - preferably something slightly longer than 1 1/4 inches.
4 - I shove the blunt needle down the side and slowly release juice as I slowly pull the needle up. I do the exact same thing about 7 times all around the EMDCC's inner fill. You definitely want to avoid putting any juice in the center hole. I tap the bottom of the EMDCC on something (not hard) - trying to help the juice settle slowly and evenly. It doesn't take but 5 or 6 taps to do a lot of good.
5 - Next, I usually go around the top of the filler in circles - slowly releasing small amounts of juice as I go. I usually make about 10 circles, stop, tamp (tap) the juice down (usually on a paper notebook with a folded paper towel on top. I stop and look for drops of juice on the paper towel. If drops of juice are present, I know that the EMDCC is full. If not, I repeat step 5.
6 - Last, I wipe any excess juice off the bottom of the EMDCC and spin it between my hands maybe 10 to 20 times.
7 - This really doesn't take very long once you've done it several times. I find this method works the best for me.

Thanks again for the filling tips and the actual requested non-tank suggestions! The taste isn't quite as good as with tanks - but I haven't had a single leak with the EMDCCs. Very happy with this. I keep my ecig in my big pockets a lot, and sometimes the rubber tip manages to come out and still - no leaks. This has been possibly an actual life saver :) Thank you so very much!

Now... somewhere in post-anesthesia haze I misplaced it. Next step might be to attach one of those things that will make a noise when you whistle - like for lost keys :D

I ordered one without the changeable drip tip. But the drip tip doesn't bother me. It's just not the "latest and greatest" anymore. Sometimes my wallet (and my wife) wonders why I keep on browsing these forums. It vapes well and hasn't leaked a drop.

Most vendors still have the 'static tip' only. I lucked out with a preorder from Juicemafia which no longer lists them last I looked. I had one that developed a tight draw - coil soaking in vodka now ;) .... but the other two I have - one of each mouthpiece type, are working just fine. No leaks. One can get gurgling toward the end - time to refill. On the V1 and the V2 'static' I had to plug one or two of the airholes in the bottom connector part. Oddly, on the removeable mouthpiece one, I didn't have to. Perhaps they regauged the holes?? Haven't checked that closely yet, but it vaped fine out of the box.

Looking for 'flared' mouthpieces - delrin type. The eGo-cc delrin mouthpiece fits the mini protank v2/removeable but the 'flare' is a bit wider but not distracting. Most 510's fit but no flare. I understand that doesn't matter for yours :) Just putting that out in case anyone knows of flared 510 mouthpieces....

Honestly I do not have a answer for you...... I have and, have never had a single problem with my 1000mah eGo-C VV and I use Vivi Nova V3 clearomizers Protank 1's, and most recently Innokin iClear 30's and no leaking ever. My guess is his based on physics..... you said you change elevation drastically regularly in a "tank" system it works on a vacuum in the tank that is why they recommend keeping it more than 1/3 full at all times. if you have a elevation drop or rise that changes the vacuum pressure inside your tanks forcing it to try and reach a stable equilibrium possibly causing juice to push through the atty or worse still break the clearomizer itself. I think your only solution would maybe be using a 510 thread cartomizer or drip atomizer as it has a open chamber and would not be subject to elevation changes in the same way as it is naturally vented. but that is the answer of science not of experience.

One of my VV Ego batteries died (Dad killed it trying to fix it). When looking for a replacement on MadVapes, i'm finding that they all say not to be used with cartomizers less than 2.0, which all of the EMDCCs are.

huh?

They also say in their blurb for EMDCC's "These are amazing and hold almost 5mils of e-liquid. Great vapor production with a long time between refills. Screws directly onto an eGo battery with no cone required. Gives a great finished look. Price is per cartomizer. Approximately 1.6 ohms.Does not fit the e-power!"

The thing about dual coils is the it is the combined ohms of two coils at @3.2 ohms that gets the 1.6 ohm experience. Supposedly the dual coil aspect is supposed to avoid any problems. However, there is always some 'note' about using low ohm coils on eGo. And sub ohm is definitely not for the eGo. They're just covering their buts on warranty issues.... And I wouldn't go much above 3.8 Volts on the STAM VV eGo with a EMDCC at 1.6 ohms.

Many have used EMDCC's on eGos without problems. After all the 'E' in the EMDCC is 'eGo'.

I'm using a Smok Tech ARO bottom coil Pyrex tankomizer and I've had it about 1 week and it hasn't leaked a drop. I don't even keep it upright all the time. Sometimes I lay in bed and read and I just lay it flat on my comforter. It's really solid and very well sealed so I feel pretty confident in it not leaking.

Ditto on everything Denrock said about the SmokTech Aro. I love these things. Price is right, too.
