I have a black anodized VVG that I've been thinking of having Rob work his mech magic on. I bought in the classies after I traded my first VVG with PapaL and it's in wonderful condition. Then I changed my mind about wanting another VVG. I tried to trade it for an LP Grand in order to avoid destroying a perfectly good VVG but got no takers. There's nothing wrong with it except for the fact that is doesn't get used and I know it never will, at least not by me. I feel kind of bad about wanting to convert it to mech but I want to use the Reo's I have, not pack them away. So, that's my dilemma. Should I hold onto it in the hope that I'll eventually find someone who will love it or should I convert it?

I was sitting here thinking about it this morning and realized I could fit one hell of a big bottle of juice in a VVG lol! Here it is with a ten ml bottle that actually fits, tightly, but it fits.

I still wonder though if I'll find someone who'll use it as is and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Thanks guys and gals. I really don't want to destroy it and I feel like converting it would be destructive. But I've never been one to keep something that just sits, it bugs me. I get rid of or pass on anything if it's not useable in my house. I guess keeping it just sort of goes against my nature but I'm not into ruining things either.

Between keep/sell and convert it, I'd say don't get it converted - it's a classic that won't be reproduced.

Between keep and sell it, I'd say follow your heart. You know it would get picked up and maybe be the gateway reo for some neo-reonaut. Either that or another proud piece for some collector. Maybe that latter person is you, maybe it's not.

Given you are flush with reos to use in the meantime, maybe sit on it for a while to see how you feel about it.

ETA: Oh, and thank you again for the VVG swap. Perhaps I'm biased :)

Ok, so after more thought I've decided to try and sell it in the classies. I've tried to trade it with no luck so selling is next. If it doesn't sell then she gets packed away.

You may want to wait till the one in the classy sells. Its priced to move with a ton of extras. :(

Hi chebird! I hope you like it! It's actually in better shape cosmetically than my natural born raw aluminum that I bought from Rob about 8 weeks ago. I guess using it non-stop for weeks will do that! If you have any questions about coiling the RM3 let us know and lots of folks here can help. Oh and pics or it didn't happen even though you and I both know it did happen lol!

Thanks! I've coiled a lot of other rda's for many other devices, is there anything I should do specific to an RM3? Or just working within a 14mm attie being the biggest difference Id imagine.
