Welp I've been talking to a forum buddy about it tonight and I can't really find what I want...

-pyrex or glass
-metal caps (or something as reliable)
-2.5-3.5ml (I don't want something huge)
-510 connector (I use en ego-c, so I want it to look nice)
-would like cartos/tank/whole setup from one company
-want to spend less than 30 bucks

Im tired of these clearos and dry hits (spin spin spin, still get a dry ending). I've checked out ibtanked and the p one (forget the name and im on my phone so Its a pain to look it up right now) and they just don't have a "full package" that I can find in my price range.

Am I looking for the holy grail or is there something out there for me? I don't want top of the line because its my first tank setup, I just want something that will be worth my time and introduce me to the tank world.

Thanks everyones!

I believe "the P one" is Phiniac. ;)

The Triple V tank from Valley Vapes is a fine tank, I have three, but you do realize how big that tank is? It is 1" in diameter. It will look very top heavy on an eGo battery, and you did say you did not want something huge. The short tank holds 4ml and the longer tank holds 7ml.

Not sure why you said IBTanked didn't have the full package in your price range of below $30. 19mm pyrex tube ($5) and stainless caps ($17.50) = $22.50. Pre-punched carto's for $1.50 each. Drip tips for $2.00 each. If you don't mind getting the acrylic caps they are $5 cheaper. The short tank holds 1.5ml and the longer tank holds 2ml. Pretty nice complete tank setup for under $30. Much slimmer than the Triple V tanks. I have 7 of these tanks and love them.

I didn't realize how biiiiig they were, a 1" tank would look rediculous on my ego.
On the other hand, I have been looking more at the ibtanked site and have put together an ordinary package for rather cheap.
I kinda figured that. It's hard to tell the size of stuff from pictures online. Thought I'd just give you a heads up about it so you wouldn't be disappointed.

As I said, the Triple V tanks are very nice tanks, too. They just look better on a larger device.

do the caps have anything whatsoever to do with the fluid? Like the reactive fluids would I need to use SS caps and tips?
Yes. For example, IBTanks offer both stainless steel and acrylic end caps for their tanks. If you plan to use any of the flavors that can melt/crack plastic, the wise choice would be go for the SS caps as acrylic is a plastic. Ocelot here on the forums posted a pic of her acrylic caps that were melted by a peppermint cinnamon flavor.

I use a juice on a semi-regular basis that will crack a pmma or plastic tank in under 2 minutes.Had it happen with my expensive Prive tank and had to order new tubes from Greece for it.

Ive used that same juice in my Phiniac tank with delrin caps for days at a time and had zero issues with it so Im assuming the same will hold true for the IBTanked caps as well. Hope that helps.

ok, another question about this... when using the 50/50 or 30/70 and sometimes 100% VG with dark sweet coffee juices I have to change and clean the heads of the vivi nova daily or they stop working and the taste gets all nasty. Do I have to do the same thing with a single coil cart? If so, how do you clean them, if not, how long will they last with this juice?

I rarely use the Vivi Nova's because in my experience they mute many of the flavors that I use. I use primarily cartomizer tanks and many of my juices are 100% vg. All my coffee flavors are dark colored juices.

I get 3-4 tankfulls out of my Ikenvape Platinum Mega cartos that are single coil and double punched. At that point I replace them, as it is not worth the time or effort for me to attempt to clean them. The tanks that I use are mostly IBTanked pyrex cartotanks. They hold 2 ml of liquid.

How do I know what size tank and cartomizers to order? I never know EXACTLY what I am supposed to get. I had planned on the 19mm glass tank and SS ends. Zapped was helping me get that but I'm having to wait for funds to start something new. UGH!

From what I've read you just clean the tank and switch out cartos, because they're like a dollar a piece. Seems quite easy to switch flavors when you want to. I have a drip setup for tasting, but I haven't a lot of flavors yet so im not switching yet (I don't even have my tank yet so I really don't know first hand). I do however use a t2 clearo and im friggen tired of it...LET'S GO USPS AND GET ME MY NEW STUPH BEFORE THE WEEKEND!

It's really simple. :D

The standard size tank needs a 35mm length cartomizer like Boges. This tank holds 1.5ml.

The XL size tank needs a 45mm length cartomizer like Smoktek DCT replacement cartos. This tank holds 2ml.

IBTanked-large-small.jpg

IBTanked sells both sizes of cartomizers on the website, however the last I checked they only had the longer cartos that were pre-punched. The shorter Boges that they had for sale were un-punched, but they do have a carto punch tool for sale. Also have drip tips for sale cheap.
