Whats a dry hit?

SteamTink here, just curious guys if anyone can tell me what a dry hit is? Thanks guys

Couple different scenarios....

1) Dry hit (dry burn) before adding juice to burn off the residue on a coil before use. Just don't inhale that. Taste like crud.

2) Puffing on a clearomizer, or other nicotine container without sufficient juice on the coil. Taste like crud too...

Its like how taking a chug of water feels different then a shot of vodka in your mouth.
Some vapes you feel nothing, other kick the back of your mouth.

It's when your atomizer has little or no liquid on it and you take a vape, it's very harsh, because you are inhaling the smoke of liquid remnants that were hardened onto the coil from previous vaping.

When you get a dry hit.. you will easily know what it is

Juice is not getting to the coil. Different tank assemblies have different characteristics. Let the juice soak the coil. When I load my tank, I shake it once or twice and let it sit for a minute. Seems to work.

That is if it is a new fill on a new atomizer. If the atomizer is used, things could be gunked up.

A dry hit is a hit where there little to no juice in the wick/coil.
