Hi All, so when I posted last time, I had bought a Green Smoke kit. I'm gonna return that but I did find a smoke shop in my town where I bought a Spider battery and cartridge (not sure if that's what it's called. where you put the liquid in). Anyway, I like the battery but the mouth piece on the cartridge seems to let in a lot of air which is not giving me a good hit. The battery is large but I can't find any info on the threads of it so I don't know what cartridges will fit it or what brand is good. I'd rather look for a good one locally instead of ordering one online.

Can someone please let me know what kind of carts will fit on my Spider from Imperial Smoke and a good brand? Like I said, the mouth piece seems to let in a lot of wasted air.

Sorry I don't know the correct wording for some of this stuff. I'll get used to it though.

Thanks

If it is this one then it appears to be standard Ego threading, which means any ego or 510 device will fit it. The batteries may be the 3.4V rather than the 3.7V but that is probably fine. Just be careful if you by an Ego battery as well, as it may not work with your spider battery charger.

Boge cartomisers probably have the best reputation, however you could also use any of the ego compatible devices like the CE5 etc. The 510 threading will also work with tank devices such as the vivi nova or tank cartomisers.

While a lot of folks do swear by Boge, it's not a given that it would fit on your ecig. Unfortunately, I'm not familar with the brand you have so I can't say one way or the other. Have you tried googling it? If you could provide a link to a website or some additional information, I'm sure someone here could help you.

I don't know anything about that battery, but looking at the website it comes with an instruction manual.

It looks like an ego clone to me.... I would assume it probably has 510 and ego style threading. My best advice is use boge LR (low resistance) cartomizers and buy a drip tip (510 style) instead of using the one that comes with the cartomizer.

I wouldn't know any local retailers , but here is a site I've used before for this product that was genuine and the cost a bit more or less (but price includes shipping cost). http://www.vaporbeast.com/Boge_Black_Low_Resistance_Cartomizers_p/c1.htm

drip tips http://www.vaporbeast.com/category_s/1837.htm

They are an east coast company who ships quickly. Read your manual to be sure though before you purchase. 510 and ego threading is popular and very common.

You can't really assume that. There are devices that look very similar, but have different threading. Some vendors can be sneaky about getting customers stuck with only buying their products.

That's the battery I have. It actually came with a 1.6 ml cart but it didn't work so they gave me a 2.6 ml cart (not made by Imperial Smoke). It just seems like the black mouth piece is too large. Anyway, the site does say that CE6 comes with it. So a CE5 won't work, correct?

A CE6 and CE5 are styles of "Delivery Systems" those are the things that hold the juice which screw into the battery. The reason we keep going on about the battery is because they can have different sized threads, which determines what systems can be used on them, which is more important than the version number of the delivery system - if that makes sense.

Well that is why I ended my post with "Read your manual to be sure though before you purchase. 510 and ego threading is popular and very common".

also noticed they were selling a product i510 carto's so I'm thinking a 510 connection at best.

So if the Imperial Smoke site says the Spider batteries comes with CE6 Clearomizors, I need to stick the CE6 carts only, right?

You can use anything with the same threading. The thing is, it doesn't seem like people are familiar enough with that brand to be able to tell you with 100% certainty what threading that battery uses.

Maybe someone will come along who knows. You could try asking the vendor what style threading it has. They should be able to give you an answer like "808" or "510" as examples. But they may try to tell you to only use their brand of clearomizer, just to keep you buying from them.

It looks like it is just an Ego battery. If you can go to a local shop that sells e-cigarettes, I'm sure they will let you test to see if an Ego or 510 threaded device will screw onto it. Even better if you know someone personally who will let you try their Ego or 510 threaded devices. If neither of these things are possible, you could just buy something cheap with Ego or 510 threads to test with your next e-liquid order. If you happen to know where you will be ordering from next, let me know and I will gladly take a look at the site to make a recommendation on a test device. That is... as long as it is not Imperial E-Cig since all of their stuff is proprietary branded :)
