What's a sin bin?

Sin Bin is ECFs term for a temporary (3 day ban ), Suspended is a longer "vacation" (7 days). and Moved On is a permanent ban or account closure (at users request or other various reasons).
Well then, that explains it. Thanks for the info! I tried a search and didn't come up with much.
Back in the early days, people were banned, period, the Sin Bin and Suspended is a good idea. It allows people to cool down and think about how they messed up. It gives them a second chance.

Typically, that's a "depends". Some situations warrant it, some don't (but then it does based upon recent/prior history)... But I can speak for the mods of this site, just my experience.
Probably, but I can't say for sure. However, when a person is on the path of getting into trouble, they usually know it and even their friends know it.
I have a friend who is in the Sin Bin now and I have repeatedly told her to curb her temper.

Normally yes, if it's a blatant disregard to rules or a violation that warrants swift action, there may not be a warning.

Ok, maybe I should let the brass answer this one, but I believe that an infraction goes on your record and that you can see it on your profile page. Some infractions are permanent and some are temporary.
As I said before, I have never gotten either a warning or an infraction, so I don't personally have any experience on the subject. I only know what I have heard.
