The Buzz from notcigs.com believe me I've looked all over and done my home work. The Buzz is the clear winner. Just look at the notcigs subforum and see who owns them. They are all vets. The Buzz is 4.1 inches it's not that big. It's about as big as a little chuck but only thinner.

Agreed, they have some blems on the site for sale now at a GREAT price.

I started looking into mods, and too bad you think the glv2 is ugly because that one seems great

the silver bullet is pretty HUGE...thought you didn't want that

the buzz seems a decent size and I guess once you get that variable voltage where you want it, then it's fine. sucks you have to change the voltage with a screwdriver.

check out grimmgreen's reviews on youtube. he reviews a TON of mods, including the buzz, the glv2 and the silver bullet!

I don't find the Silver Bullet to be all that huge. I guess in comparison to a standard 510 it would be. It obviously is bigger than en eGo or Riva. Don't really let the size intimidate as far as the SB; you quickly get used to it, and if you find a strain on your musculature, well, that's a thread for the health forum. It might not fit comfortably in the pocket of a tight pair of jeans, but I carry it in my loose-fitting ones with no problem.

And, no, you do not have to change batteries to adjust the Buzz voltage.

The best MOD out there is the one that best suits you.

That said, you might want to try a 5V PT before spending a bunch of money on a 5V MOD if you dont currently use 5V. I say that because the 2.5ohm 510 cartomizers while perfect on my 3.7V MOD, get a little hot and go through the juice on my 5V PT. I ended up sticking a 3.2 ohm cartomizer on the 5V PT and that keeps the watts in same range on both devices.

That said if you want to belch as much vaper as you could smoke with an analog, 5V will do it. Just make sure you actually enjoy 5V before jumping in.

Edited after finding awesome MOD.

Cant say I'd go with the 5V since I want the battery life the 18650/3.7V would give, but if I ever spend that kind of money on a MOD, it would be a juice feeder of some form or fashion. Again, focus on what you want, not on anyone else's opinion.

Are there any video reviews for the buzz. The buzz does look like it is better than the silver bullet because it has a regulator. My question is if you change the voltage without changing the battery.

No need to change or remove batteries, there's a small flathead screw on the side that you can turn to adjust voltage.

The Buzz is considerable smaller than the SB. You're right the SB is HUGE!

If I were in the market for a new mod right now, I'd get a blemished silver buzz. Variable voltage at that price simply can't be beat without it being in a plastic box or home made.

I have a Silver Bullet and it's really not that much bigger. It's much prettier than a buzz, and it's one of the more durable and dependable big battery mods. (Short of being all mechanical.)

The SB isn't mechanical and SOMEDAY that button will fail on you and you'll be SOL.
The V3 is completely user serviceable, and it could outlast YOU. It will always work, and if it doesn't, you can fix it. A SB or anything with an electronic switch WILL fail eventually and then you'll have to send it in to get it fixed and you're screwed for the time being. If it was the end of the world, you'd want the V3. Hands down. I've had both the SB and the V3. PPL say the SB isn't big, but it's DEFINITELY not small either. It will weight your pants down and you won't want it in your pocket.

I'd LOOK at the BUZZ. The blemished ones right now are cheap and they're definitely one of the best VV mods out. Period. Although they're not mechanical, a buzz or a PRECIOUS would be the ONLY two electronic mods I'd even CONSIDER.

Be practical about your mod choices. Unless you're full of money. Are you? :)

This 98-pound woman has no problem with the size of the Silver Bullet, and all you guys are whining about it?

that's cool and all but guys tend to put things in their pocket.
I'm sure you have a purse.
A SB in the pocket is too big for me. Sorry. Personal preference.
Just sayin'.

Tonyorion:
Same a Redx. Saw several mods at a meet, and got the Joker AV. Adjustable voltage, built in protection, indicator. There is even a screw to adjust button pressure.

Also, the thing looks cool and elegant. Also, for $119 you get 4 batteries, charger, carrying case, and a screwdriver for the adjustments.

Is there protection against the thing just outright FAILING?
because there's PLENTY of instances where that was the case.... do a search for joker and I'm SURE you'll find them
most threads have been negative.
I was interested in a JOKER AV for awhile... until I found out how horrible the CS is and that several people were having problems that they refused to fix for them.... so I figured I'd skip considering I don't give money to ppl like that.

everyone has their OPINIONS
but not all opinions are based on fact.

EXCELLENT advice. I went that route to try 5v. Got a couple direct line PT's from Wholesale & Retail Best E-cigarette E-juice Supplier for $9 each and a 2amp USB wall wort when those were available cheap. I liked it, but i prefer 3.7. I still use them when i can't be bothered charging batteries. Had them about 9 months and only one has a sticking button problem.

It's nice to have a mod with the option for both, so if you don't get a buzz, you might consider one that does 2 voltages.

Partly true. The SB isn't mechanical, it's electro-mechanical--but it certainly isn't electronic. There's no semiconductor involved in any part of it, just machined aircraft aluminum, springs and electrical contacts. This is the actual switch used in it: http://spec.e-switch.com/lambweb/52-PV2F640NN.pdf. As you can see by the spec, it's rated for 200,000 cycles, something I seriously doubt can be said for the Tinker Toy used in the Buzz.

I'm sure you have a purse...

I have to admit I'm sorry sometimes that things went the way they did culturally about who can carry a purse and who can't--but they did, and I deal with it. I carry my SB in my shirt pocket. Granted, the drip tip sticks out the top like a periscope, but it works reasonably well.

I still say the big brother or little sister they do everything the buzz does for less money and are smaller. only draw back is battery life. the little sister is good for about 4 hours of continuous vaping but lasts me atleast till i get home from work, the big brother will last all day. much smaller than a buzz. I also have a variable volt tech mod for backup if i'm going out of town or something.
