Ok.....sometimes I screw my Ego into the USB charger and the red light comes on and it charges than turns green.....charged.....great!
another ego the power button shines the entire time and red light kinda flickers red? This mean an issue developing with he battery?

other times the power button just lashes on and off? What's this mean? Lol

I have 3 different batteries and 2 chargers for EGO.

1. Battery blinks 3 or 5 times and stay lit (blue), Charger is red (with blinking blue) = charging.
Battery blinks 3 or 5 times and stay lit , charger is green = done charging.

2. Battery no blink, charger is red (with blinking blue) = charging.
Battery no blink, charger is green = done charging.

I have seen some others that does different things.

Cheers

The same thing happens with my ego batteries. The blue LED will stay lit while charging with one, while the other one stays off. i believe it could just be a differ between different manafacturers making the same ego style battery.
Also the charger light flashing could result as the battery is nearly fully charged, and jumping from red to green.

With mine the eGo battery light is blue and the charger light red while charging. When it is almost done the eGo light is still on but the charger flickers from red to green, when charging is complete the light on the eGo goes out and charger stays solid green. Same with both batteries. Tomorrow my eGo batteries will going into retirement anyway. I'll be charging 14430s for my shiny metallic blue Buzz Pro.

I have a few of those that keep the button light on while charging. They're 650mAh batteries that I got from PriceAngels. I know they're cheap knockoffs.

I have one genuine Kanger Evod battery with the white/clear LED. That button never flashes while charging.

I have two rebranded, genuine JoyeTech Egos, one in 900mAh and one in 650. They both flash when first attached to the charger. They then go off and don't come back on until I disconnect and press the button.

I also have two VV Ego knockoffs with five-click voltage selection. There's no way to turn them off. While charging, both the ring LED and the bottom LED array light up when charging.

All have been in service for about two months now, with no problems.

Mine are 1100mah Bauways I got from eJuiceMonkeys. After almost 2 months I've had them they work just like the day I got them. They last a good 10-12 hours. I'd stick with them but I just want VV and something that will last for years.

They probably will still see some use I'm not sure yet if the Buzz is going to leave the house or not.

Meh...depends on the battery and (believe it or not) the charger too. A lot of different manufacturers out there hence the different results. I get different indicators on the same 510 auto batteries when I use different chargers on them too. That said... I DO NOT recommend using an ego style charger for small batteries (it will fry them or worse). What you are experiencing is not something to worry about though (hehe..I hope). I've seen it a zillion times.

Almost every battery and charger I've ever had charged differently than others unless gotten from same place same time. If this is something new that the battery never did before, you could be developing a problem if it's a new one use caution and see how it works, I have two of same ego's and I have confused which one needed charging if I placed a full one on charger by mistake the power button would flash and charger just stay green, oops!

Has anybody had the following battery issue, Ego-ce5 1100 mah. This is written on the side of the battery, i received it yesterday along with an Elusion 650 mah lcd battery. The LCD battery charged without any problems, put it on to charger, 6 to 8 hours later green light. I received two usb chargers both Elusion branded (DC 4.2 V - 500Ma) and have tried both on each battery.

However the second battery (1100 mah) was totally different. Put on to its charger and it blinks 20 times. Left it in for 6 hours but no green light. When i removed the battery its blinks 3 to 5 times but still no green light even if i then screw it back in?

I used the 1100 battery for the afternoon to see if it would work, and it doesn't seem as powerful as the 650 mah battery, which gives me dry hits if i vape too quickly. Anyway i put it on charge again and this time the blue light was constantly lit with a red light on charger. Then an hour or so later the light went out, still not green light on usb charger just a constant red light.

Is this a normal characteristic for the 1100 mah battery? Should i get a green light on the charger to tell me its charged.

Just thought id ask as I've looked around the forum and there doesn't seem to be anybody that has a battery with this type of characteristic. :(

I've gone back to the vendor for more details but haven't not received anything yet so wondered if anybody here had used a battery like this.
