A lot of people go ahead and use these batteries on 1.5 ohm cartos. I actually have an ego 650 that I have used a 1.5 DC on, and it works great (well, great as in it works very reliably, but I wish there was more voltage). BUT, yes, your battery life can easily half. Kinda sucks, but that's the way it is. I'm the 18650 mod from ego that has a 2000mah batttery for vaping my new favorite carto - the ego mega dual coil cartomizer from smoktech. It's also about 1.5 ohms.

Awesome! Thats exactly the carto that I would like to buy!
Thanks alot for the info! I will go ahead and buy them and give them a try.

About the mob and battery, do you have any recommendation thats not too expensive, is reliable and lasts around 6 straight hours? (maybe is to ask too much about the battery life before recharge but... anyway) :D

Sorry, my post was wierd (grammar). The emdcc works great on the ego. Actually, I'm also considering the madvapes.com mod box.

Variable Volt Box Mod w/ Voltage Indicator

It looks very functional, and is quite cheap for a decent mod box. To use the EMDCC, you would of course have to buy a 510 to ego/cone adapter. I can't wait to try me some variable voltage with this thing!

Like I was saying about 1.5 ohm stuff, it does take a little toll on the battery, but this carto (ego mega) is pretty amazing, even at my ego's little 3.4 voltage. I can't imagine what it would be like at a true 3.7, or even 4 ish!

I have found the Smoktech LR DC almost work with Ego batteries. Some cartos don't fire well at all, some do. It is like it is just on the threshold or something. The ones that don't work often start start working if I break them in first on a passthrough that puts out a little more voltage. This almost-ness is what has lead me to order a VV mod.
