What's the best battery set up for a BOLT?

I bought 4 18650 off of eBay. They were all bad. Any suggestions?

Bad in what way and what did they cost?

I've used these:

IMR 18650, LiMn 2000mAh Battery
TrustFire Protected 18650 Battery, 3000mAh
TrustFire Protected 18650 Battery, 2400mAh

Just got these to try:

Orbtronic - Panasonic CGR18650CH With Top Button, 2250mAh IMR High Drain 18650 Battery Cell-Made in Japan
Panasonic PROTECTED 18650 Battery 2900mAh - Cell- Protection Made in Japan - Shipped free from Florida USA

The protected ones for my Bolt and Telescope, unprotected forVV devices.

They come from china. They had no voltage output. All of them were dead cells.

I wouldn't buy batteries from there or circumspect sites, no reason to fool around with batteries for $1 or $2. Good ones and ok ones will last long enough to make even $5 difference negligible over the life time.

That doesn't mean you won't get not so good ones in a batch .

i used a bolt on a daily basis...it came with a green color battery, might be smoktech if i remember....but now i'm using trustfire 18500 1800mah batteries

Madvapes has EH IMR's. Cheap and good. They haven't given me any trouble in the 3 months I've had them. I run my bolt kicked with 18650's with 2 extensions.
