I'm using 3 generic 650mah eGo batteries but they starts to act weird (it feels to me like they don't give the same output when going down to 80-70% of battery, when I just take them out of the charger it does feel like its gives the atomizer the voltage\wattage it needs).

What's the best eGo battery for $30 or less? I mean something that will have a decent life span (won't die after few weeks) and will give standard clearoz (I'm using Aspire CE5 BDC tanks) the best voltage\wattage to produce good vapor\flavor amount.

* If my budge is not realistic, let me know, I just use to get 2-3 generic batteries at the same time so I limit my budget to around $30/piece, but if you believe the battery is good enough to use only one, the budget can be easily doubled.

Thanks!:toast:

Get the iTaste VV3. You can find it for about $30 on ebay and probably around $40-50 on other sites, but definitely check out the iTaste VV 3.0 Express Kit. It is very solidly built, charges through micro USB, can check resistance/ohms, has a puff counter, LED display, goes from 3.3 to 5.0 volts, and the square shape is very nice, keeps it from rolling off the table. It says its 800mah but it seems to stay charged longer than my 900mah Spinner and Winder. Check it out.

If you are really liking the eGo style (I do, too), you might want to consider a Twist or a Spinner. I've bought them several places, both authentic Joyes and Visions, and knock-offs, and have never had a problem with any of them. Most recently, I got these and it's the best price I've seen for the quality: Joye eGo Rechargeable Batteries
I've been using them for several weeks now, and they are working fantastically. I also bought a 400 mah of the same type, and I'm very happy with that, too. If you have been using a 650 non-variable voltage, and want a similar size, the 400 would be the way to go. You will find the battery life to be shorter, though. I generally use the 1300's (which last forever!) at home and the 650's or 400's for out and about.

edited to add: Oh! And I just got an email from them that they have 15% off any online orders over $20 through tomorrow.

The Vision Spinner and Smoktech Winder are about equal, but the iTaste VV3 is definitely a step above. I don't notice a difference in the quality of the vape at 50% battery (at which your fire button will turn orange to let you know it). You won't regret getting one! I think it's the best Ego style VV battery. It is not very large, only slightly longer than a 650mah Ego Twist battery and the same length as my 900mah Spinner.

I second all of this-I buy these knock offs in 1000-1100 mah and never have any problems

Fast Tech prices from a reputable US seller... Ugh. Just what I need...
Oh well. New VV 3.0 incoming!

The itaste vv v3 can be had for $26 at 101vape.com. Can't beat it for the price. Vv/vw, reads ohms, battery life, puff counter. It's a nice little device and I really enjoy mine.

I was scr**ed once when all my eGo batteries decided to die at the same time. Never again! I bought a heap of mini eGos, a big eGo twist, one that literally doubles as a flashlight, one eGo-ish that looks like a "personal massager" lol... and a couple EVOD batteries. All were knockoffs and dirt cheap, most from FastTech. They were (most? all?) under $10 each - the minis were under $5 each. Can you believe not a single one has had ANY problems at all? Figures. Now I have a big, colorful assortment.

The EVODs give me the most consistent vape from charge to charge. I use mini eGos more though, because I like the tiny size. I hardly ever use the VV because it's so tall and heavy, the flashlight one is too obnoxious, and the personal-massager-looking one, well, it's a backup if I need it.

I think Murphy's Law comes into play. If you have only 1 or 2 batteries, they will die at the least convenient time. With a big supply, all will run smoothly.

If you like the 650 mAh size and if you can figure wattage without a readout, then there's no better battery than the Joyetech eGo-c upgrade batt for the longest whole life of the battery. I have several that I've had over a year. I've had Vision Spinners and knockoffs that have lasted 3-5 months.

The Joye eGo-c upgrade has the 5 click on/off, a 10 second cutoff that is actually around 13-14 seconds (Visions are usually below 8 and I had one that was closer to 6). The button led changes from white to light blue to dark blue at the end of the charge, so if you're at 'white' going out - you'll have a good 4-6 hours - ymmv depending on power vaping vs. regular use. I have around 6 pairs - two for each flavor I use, going for over a year. Two of the most used are on their last legs - I reported this earlier but they're still working - the charge cycles are now shorter than they were a few months ago.

I personally have never had a Joye batt 'lemon', but it's possible. There have been some reports on this forum of them and some reports that they were Joyes when they weren't. It happens. No eGo batts will do 'sub-ohm' well. Anything below 1.3 ohms is asking for trouble with eGo's even Joye eGos. And you can get below 1.3 ohms by using a 1.5 ohm coil and letting it get gunked up. I stay above 1.8ohm on my clearos but have used 1.5 lr Joye or cisco (also Joyes to start) attys and they work fine, but I don't use non-Joye LR attys on eGos. And I don't dry burn eGos. Not saying you couldn't, just that I don't and I don't have "battery problems". And many vendors purport to have Joyes or their blurbs invoke "Joye" in some manner but you have to make sure they're a genuine Joye vendor to be certain.

With the upgrade batt you have the best short and charge protection in the eGo style batt, and two modes - regulated at a constant voltage for the full charge 3.4V - good for strong flavors with the 1.8 ohm Aspire or T3, evod, mini protank, and good with the 2.2 ohm coils for lighter flavors. Also has the 'unregulated mode' which runs like any unregulated 3.7V batt - 4.1-4.2V off the charger, 3.6-3.7V for most of the charge and 3.2-3.3V at the end of the charge. Turn the battery off and hold button for 8 seconds, turn back on to change modes. the 'unregulated - they call it vv because the voltage varies in that mode, but it's not true vv like the Twist - the button is orange and doesn't change colors like in the regulated mode. I use this mode occasionally if the draw tightens on darker eliquids mainly, but a coil needs cleaning or changed usually. The extra voltage helps in that case. Or sometimes I'll use that mode for a coffee flavor that likes more heat. Espresso needs the voltage of a Twist usually.

For maintenance I take a Qtip to the well of the battery connection and the charger before charging - on every charge. And I don't put a PV in the back pocket of my jeans :)

The threading on Joyes are the best in China, imo. And you have to get them at genuine Joye vendors - cignot, heaven gifts, are my go to shops but there are others - check the Joyetech website for vendors/partners and also check the 'copycat' listings. $17 each - get two.
