Hello

So im using 1.8ohm coils on my Kanger T2 and 650mah / 1300mah eGo battery.
Im tempted to order a 1.5ohm replacement (6w vs. over 7w vape) BUT it would give about 2.2amps then

Is it safe? Does someone "use" the same-kind of setup?

How long the battery lasts this way (i mean when it totaly dies).

Thank you

I've always used 1.8 ohms, simply because this puts out more vapor than a higher resistance. There should be no problem with 1.5 ohms and an eGo.

But, I'd suggest you try a Twist, which I have. Then you can crank it up to well over 4 volts and get the same power, and vapor, as using 1.5ohms on a regular eGo. Only disadvantage is higher cost and the battery is about 1 inch longer.

Safe? Well it's not recommended. The only ego I had that died by malfunction ( got extremely Hot and tossed) had a DC on it at 1.5.

Under 2.0 is not recommended, but people are using 1.7 often, and it's been fine. You might be able to get away with it if you aren't a Hard and Heavy vaper and just taking short puffs.

Problems come when that ego is down to 3.3 and/or your 1.5 goes wacky and goes Under 1.5.

REALLY sounds like you're ready to move up to higher volts :) At least an ego Upgrade that supplies 3.7.

Long term- nobody really complains because of the low cost, so you don't read much about that here. Keep it clean and don't buy cheap.
