So I have alot of different juices coming in over the next week as well as some DIY supplies to make my own. Whats the most efficient to try new flavors without going advanced user type stuff? If you have several flavors you like do you use the cheap clearos and just keep 1 flavor per clearomizer or do you clean out your tank? Do you use a certain type of tank thats easy to clean to test then use something different once you know you like it? What are some of my options for trying all these juices out and the rotations you use? Thanks

These are cheap and work pretty well. HERE

Agree with the drip tip option, you can just replace the cotton and try a new flavor. If that is in your definition of "advanced" though, it depends on the liquids. If they are light juices, you might be able to get away with just changing the juice (after a quick wash), but if they are dark, heavy flavors, they might linger even after you change the juice, and the flavors will blend. If you have a nearby B&M that has a tasting bar, odds are they have a bunch of cheap tanks for the testers, and may sell them as well. Mine has a bunch that usually cost about $3 a pop.

good lord... a RDA with a single coil.. juice, taste, rewick.. repeat... cotton is cheap... 510 attys are not

Yes, you're right but the OP mentioned they didn't want to go down the advanced user path. It's debatable if using an RDA is advanced, but I think anything you have to build a coil for could be described as advanced in my book.

So I'll add in a sealed 510 KP Long Barrel Sealed Atomizer - Kidney Puncher is perfect for testing different juices.

Just screw it in, drip a few drops and vape it. When you notice the flavor and vapor get light, drip a few more drops - or drip a different juice flavor in there. So simple, and you'd be surprised at how much flavor and vapor they produce.

It will literally last for months and requires nothing more than a quick rinse every few days, and maybe a quick soak in vodka every few weeks, as maintenance.

I checked out that link and the reviewers seem to really like that one for easily trying out different flavors, but what does "not bottom compatible" mean? Do you need something else to go with this like coil heads or something?

Topwater Elvis (excellent username BTW) hit the nail on the head - an unsealed atomizer will allow liquid to flow in and out of the coil head, so the are particularly useful for liquid feeders that need this to work correctly - think REO, VMOD and other liquid bottom feeders.

The linked atty I put in my post is completely sealed, this means that if you put too many drips into the atty, it will just flood and give you a little gurgle (with a reduction in vapor and flavor) but not leak out on to your battery.

This was such a great thread to find! I have quite the selection of juices to test now and haven't found a good system for it!

I have an 1100 eGo and just use clearomizers because it's easy, but I found the flavor stuck in them/the coils, even after a hot water wash. I've had to let them completely dry out overnight. I'll have to try the vodka rinse to see if that helps that situation. But I have a handful of clearomizers, so I can let one dry and test in another. Haven't gotten the hang of getting just enough to taste in, so I feel like I'm wasting juice! (Mine are bottom fill. I think I'm going to start using a syringe to keep the waste down.)

Hey Hank does a silica wick hold up better to cleanings and burn offs? thx

Doesn't look like you received an answer, so I will give it a shot.
Silica wick can be dry burned and rinsed. A cotton wick can not be dry burned as it itself will burn in the process. I also would not recommend rinsing cotton. It would take too long to dry and isn't worth the effort. If you are using cotton you just take out the old and put in a new piece. Very easy to do and very inexpensive.
