Where I usually am
i ordered a fox box mod and im wondering ,cartomizers or attys? whats your guys experience? i have a boat load of 510 standard resistance boge cartomizers that dont do anything, cus all i have are 3.7 devices, and stand resistance sucks on 3.7. what do you guys think i should use on it?
Hi and welcome to ECF:).... If you have standard cartos, they should work ok on the 5 volt....at least I have standard cartos at 3.2ohm that fire great at 4.4 to 5.5 volts.....I'm not big on attys...only for testing new flavors.
Stay tuned....others will chime in with recommendations:)

so HV would be 3.5 ohms or higher?
It.....to me varies with the user. 3.2 to 3.5ohms work fine on a 5 volt.. On my ProVari using an adapter with a carto that is at 3.9ohm is vaping nice at 6 volts......ummmm lets see... a standard boge carto at 3.3ohm is vaping nicely at 5 volts....Like I said, it depends on the user....finding out what works best for them. Certain juices can make a diff too!

I use 1.5 to 1.8 @ 3.7 vaping and 2.5ohm @ 5v on GLV2s. Nice, warm analog-like vapor. Love Ikenvape's attys except for the new Stealth line. They leak like crazy or taste burnt.
2.5ohm at 5 volts!!! Yaaaaaaaaa!:p nice HOT vapor.......:) Like I said LOL! It depends on the user.

I would suggest you branch out now that you have a much better PV. Get an adaper ($3) and get some 801/BE112 atomizers or mini-801 atomizers (Ikenvape.com) and some 801 cartomizers ($1.49) (madvapes.com). They vape really nice on a 5 volt or variable volt PV. nhaler.com even has Dual Coil 801 cartos, now. Many of us prefer them over the 510's.
