What's the difference between a regular Reo and a 18490?

Is there a functional difference? I imagine so, if not why would they get made.

The 18490 is of a size smaller than the Grand and larger than the Mini. It uses a battery that last longer than the Mini's, not as long as the Grand. It is a mid-size REO.

Bigger battery capacity in as small a form factor possible. The 18490 has almost twice the mah than the 14500.

Its because of the batteries.
The REos with 18650s are biggersized(lastig longer batteriewise), and the ones with 14500 are smaller (shorter batteriewise).
18490s are right there in the middle small enough to match almost every hand and they last long enough.

Thanks. Does anyone know how long the Mini lasts in terms of battery power? I recall reading about this somewhere but it escapes me. Is it 1 hour per 100 mahs?

It's so subjective because of personal vaping styles, resistance on the atty, etc etc... but 100mah/hr is a very loose rule of thumb.

Well, for me its no problem to take an 14500 as a spare.
You always should have some backups (atty juice batt)with u anyway.

What do you mean by regular Reo? The first Reo? That was the Woodvil and quite big because of big battery and wood is bigger than aluminium.

Regarding the aluminium Reos, the coming 18490 will be slightly bigger than the Mini. But according to the pics, it will maybe possible, that aluminium Mini and 18490 will have the same doors. But Rob said one time "No". It is still a development process. Because I am bound to APPLE since 1984, I call it for myself in the meantime "Reo Mini 2nd Generation with 18490 battery".

It will be NEARLY the size of the Mini, but not a big step like from Mini to Grand.

So the one on the far right end is the metal 18490? Looks like the Grand sizewize? Or is that a Grand you put in there as a placeholder?
