The biggest difference I have experience between those claptonish builds is they are very spitty. I also cant stand the regular twisted wires as they all spit way to much.

The clapton styled builds can also be power hungery.

The only fancy builds I have found to be worth the extra effort are parallel builds.

This is All IMHO. Lots of people love those things. Between the spitting and how they gobble up those watts, they aren't for me.

They spit, the suck your power, they also heat up your atty fast if you chain vape. Not good in the Tx heat.

Want to get the what the look? build a 5-6 strand 30 gauge parallel dual coil. Mention you have a new 30 gauge build and proceed to blow a massive plume.

I run mine on my okl-t20 VV turned all the way down (3.5volts)most think I have it jacked up towards the max 5.5v ranges.

Cloud chasing is about alot more then just making a big ol piece of wire and heating it.

To maximize performance you want to balance surface area, heat, power, wicking, and airflow.

Multiple strands of smaller diameter wires have more surface area in contact with the wick, heat up faster (more efficient use of power), cool down faster (less heating of the metal RDA). You can also take deeper pulls as the vapor created is not scorching hot. it is quite warm though.

A full lung fill pull on scorching hot vapor can cause you to choke on the vapor at least that what it feels like.

They really produce a surprising amount of vapor.

Experiment. Try them both.

Just because John Doe says fused alien claptons are the peak of vapor performance, or I say that parallels is where its at, means nothing if you can't get either type to work for you.

I just wanted to inform your builds do not need to be power hungry throw crazy amounts of vapor.

The more metal you use to make a coil the more juice you can convert to steam.
Not exactly, different coils have different properties, more and colder vaper comes from an optamised resistance(ohms) to surface area ratio. capillaries help the coil soak up juice as well. mixing wire type can get you the benefits as well, like using ss or nichrome as center wire while wrapping it in kanthal to bring out more flavor. My opinion Caterpiller track coils are some of the best coils you will try.

Thanks but i think i cant try any coils because i have no drill :) and i think itsn not worth the time and effort thats into it but i am curious to taste dual twisted wire build on velocity rda (clone)

You don't NEED a drill, for simple twisted wire builds. Or even other more fancy work for that matter. I use couple hooks and a weight, to replace a drill, for wire twisting and straightening. And I have several drills I could use.

These so called "fancy" coils are not just for cloud production. In fact, the main point for them is flavor. All the nooks and crannies in these crazy builds make the coil itself a wick for the juice. It vaporizes more juice which makes more flavor and clouds. You have to at least try a Fused Clapton before making a decision. Fancy builds are not for everyone but once you get to that level. You will not want to vape anything else. The flavor is just not the same.
