What's the difference between the kayfun lite plus, and kayfun 3.1 ?

What's the difference between the kayfun lite plus, and kayfun 3.1, besides the price tag ?

The kayfun Lite is shorter than the Kayfun 3.1. The KFL doesn't have airflow control like the 3.1, but they added it to the KFL+ (perhaps just modifying existing stock to compete with the Russian 91% that came with airflow control).

Will the kayfun lite plus leak if held horizontally or upside down. I want to be able to set it down on its site without leaking, or in my pocket.

I should be getting my KFL+ tomorrow, but I've never had leaking problems with my Russian 91%. I believe that Svoemesto added an o-ring to the fill screw on the KFL+ - I don't know if that was an issue previously.

The airflow adjustment for the KFL+ is on the bottom though right next to the fill screw.That is a no sell for me with that,i like to be able to adjust the airflow on the fly like my R91 does.I think that was a seriously bad move placing it there.
No,i have not read any problems with leaking out the fill port on the KFL's,that's not to say that some have not had leaking issues,i have not heard any that's all.

I'm thinking about getting the full Kayfun 3.1. You can get larger clear tanks to go to 10 or 15 mil !

Yep but 15ml mode i think is too long,unless you are just lounging around the house and just do not want to be bothered with having to get up to fill??
