Top feeders work the way atomizers were designed to work.bottom feeders look better and are easier to make.I have both and none of my bottom feeders work as well as my top feeders.Saddly, if you want a top feeder you'll probably have to make it yourself. The good news is you can make one for about $10 and an hours work.

I have to partially disagree. I never owned a top feeder that vaped better than a bottomfeeder and except for the new Hi-End ones I have owned several different models.

My 2 1/2 year old homemade top feeder (pictured above) works better than my brand new Reo grand. But the reo is sturdier.

"Better" is subjective. In what way is it better? (Not trying to be antagonistic, I'm just curious because I have 2 REOs)
More reliable filling and firing,no naolox necessary.Better juicing means more consistant vape. The drawback to both devices is they both require cheap China attys.I almost never use either of them anymore.(see picture below).

So Chuckie how much?? If you buy everything you need + hrs of labor + "fee" how much would I have to pay you for the one in your avatar?
I wish I could could help, the tube, tank and caps were machined in Croatia by peaceofcake. He only made 30 of them and they are all taken.Keep an eye on the modders forum, there are similar models being made.

Hmmm, interesting. There's a current thread about folks that don't use noalox, and I'm one of them, but still relatively new to the REOs. I've never had a firing issue, so far. And I'm still working on getting my blind squonking down pat.

That said, I do love my Puck (see below in signature), although it doesn't have a feeder bottle (yet). What I like about it is that no matter what goes wrong with it, I can fix it from parts readily available at the local Radioshack (atty being the only exception). Even the batteries can be snatched at any Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and they recharge in 15 minutes. It's hard to beat vaping from something you made yourself :)

I take it those are MAP tanks in your sig. I've never used them, but they look convenient. How long do you find that the guts last before needing to be replaced? Also, do they leak if vaping at unconventional angles (like upside-down?)

Inquiring minds want to know. :)
