What's the difference between "upgraded" coils for aerotank and other coils? Also I don't know what ohm to get, vaping a t2 (waiting on my aerotank to get here) and not sure what ohm I'm at now. vaping on an ego-c twist, not happy at 4.2v anymore. Up at 4.8v today and finding I want more of a hit, so I'm thinking lower ohm would be good (just wish I knew what ohm I'm vaping now).

Knowing where you saw the term "upgraded" might help.

I was at a shop just the other day and they showed me the new style coils for Kanger. They are more like the Aspire BDC.

It used to be you could see the wick sticking out the side of Kanger coils. As seen here

However the one place I see "upgraded" shows coils looking like the new ones shown to me at the shop

You can't tell fro that pic but they look like the Aspire coils. No wicks sticking out, small open hole with an absorbent liner inside

This is why in another thread I posed the question, does this seem almost to follow the prepunched carto design.

Everybody vapes differently. Some people like higher Ohm coils and some like lower. Some use mechanicals and others use regulated that can supply higher voltages.

Lower ohms usually results in more vapor at the same voltage. It will also affect flavor. The only thing you can do is try different things and see what you like. Some people will swear there is a difference if you turn it up or down .1 volt and others can't tell the difference between 3 and 5 volts.

Vaping can be a hobby that includes the search for the perfect vape or it can be just a way to stop smoking or anything else you want.
