from a quick online check it would appear that they are just different manufacturer designations for the same thing. Though cr123(a) would be primary (non rechargeable) batteries and rcr123(a) would be secondary (rechargeable) batteries. Also sometimes known as 16340 batteries. though typically rcr123 batteries refer to the 3v batteries and 16340 refers to the 3.7v battery, though not always
123A= 1 *2/3 A, or two-thirds the size of an "A" battery which is a 17500, 17mm diameter X 50mm long, 0= cylindrical.. so basically a 17340/ 16340 battery.
