What's the hole in the 510 atty connector on my Chuck?

Does it go all the way through to the battery compartment, so I have to worry about flooding that area? Or is it really sealed?

Actually, its for a remote dental checkup, if you get the "DenChuck" option and your dentist supports it.

Really though. I don't know for sure. I just couldn't let Elendil corner the market on wise@ss.

I do suspect that it does not go anywhere though. Probably has solder on the other side which blocks the hole. Jeff has built these things real well to keep poor lusers like us from jacking up a fine product. On a stock 510 automatic battery, you have to have the hole there so that some air goes thru the battery, to turn it on when you draw.
