Ok, here I am trying to stop the stinky sticks and get back into vaping. This is my issue...I buy something I think is the best, and in no time it ends up in a pile of units that just don't do the job or are too high of maintenance, I know die hards rebuild and all that stuff but I am not that kinda gal. As much as I love tech, I just don't want to deal with rebuilding anything! I just want a reliable unit that I can refill, is there such a thing? I really wish you genius vape inventors would invent one that the worst thing I need to do is have extra batts and a few tanks that don't need to be rebuilt.

Thanks! I will check them out. I like usb pass throughs too. Is that cave age? Oh did I mention "throat hit" is important too, but variable settings not necessary. I know there a lots of configurations to get to the ultimate vape experience. Maybe I am looking for a high end, not high maintance newbie set up. I don't care if it is two piece, three piece, just a reliable die hard...

Well the problem is with these vaping mods, nothing is necessarily finalized and you will probably end up going through many different stages trying to find what works the best. The reason I like the Reuleaux is because it houses triple 18650 batteries and will last a great amount of time before needing to be recharged, and I do believe that it can be charged with USB, although I do not know about pass through. As far as reliability goes, I'm quite sure it will do the trick and last a great deal of time before needing an upgrade or anything of that sort. Triple 18650's is a powerhouse that not many mods provide.

As far as a tank that will last a while, well that's an even more difficult question to answer than the mods themselves. Tanks are just varying according to peoples desires and that's why it's so hard to make a good choice. The Smok TFV4 has a ton of coils available for it, such as clapton, 0.15 ohm coils, triple-coils, quad-coils and the amount of coils you can get for it I think are the greatest. It also comes complete with an rebuildable atomizer section, so that will get you by if you feel the need to craft your own coils with your own wicking, and is very cost effective.

As far as straight up reliable at all times, mechanical mods are hard to beat if you know how to make a coil and know what ohms you will need to use. If affordable is what you want, the iJust 2 kit comes with an atomizer and battery, and also boasts USB micro charging and I think it is a pass through. iJust 2 gets my pick for a good quality mechanical mod with usb pass through, and also is very affordable.

A Uwell Crown tank is the best I've found so far, no leaks, top fill design, can buy a variation of different ohm coils. Any battery above 75 watts will run the tank nicely.

While I think the Uwell crown is quite classy, does it have the amount of customization like the TFV4 has? I have not personally seen the Uwell Crown, although when I saw a review of it, I thought to myself it did look nice.

It's been invented. Anyone of the current VW box mods with a Kanger or Aspire sub ohm tank. No rebuilding, just pop in a new coil and up the wattage until you like the vape.

The Kangertech Subtank Mini is prolly as close to plug and play as is possible.

Close the air off and use a high nic juice and the throat hit will be reminiscent of naplam.

Open up the air, drop the nic and enjoy the flavor.

.5Ω and high/low wattage or 1.2Ω or 1.5Ω.

In the package is one of each coil plus and super simple RBA is desired. Also extra glass and O-rings.

For a mod figger a buck a watt. Unless you wanna run with the big dogs 50w's is plenty. personally I don't buy over 40w and I don't even use the 40. Todays mods are super cheap and super reliable. Under 50 bucks gets a number of great choices.

To list a great one by name I love is the Coolfire IV. This has all the features you want and is a very nice unit. It does have a built in battery which some like and some don't.

I love my Crown tank, but there've been a few accounts of burning through coils. Uwell has apparently privately admitted to a "bad batch" which should pass but I don't have confirmation of that being the cause.

The TFV4 has an incredible array of factory coils... which cost 2-3 times what others do.
Plus they're power hungry, especially the 4 and 6 coil heads, and for a tank... it blows through juice like a Top Fuel Dragster.

Impressive, innovative, even a tad insane... yes.
Cost effective though ... maybe not so much.

When it burns through juice like a dragster, you know it's working haha!

So far I think the best overall fill and go I've found is the Innokin Disruptor with iSub tank. Regular iSub is a plastic tank. iSub G, is a glass tank.
Built in battery. Get a couple. One can be charging while you're using the other. Whole set up shouldn't be much more than $75, that's figuring the glass tank in the deal.
Good luck!

A Radius and Kabuki :vapor:

I think this is a poor choice for somebody starting out or getting back into it.

The first problem is the 300 dollar upfront cost. I can't speak for anyone but myself but if I heard vaping could cost me 300 beans for a very basic setup with no back up it would have ended there. Of coarse I spend more then that now but starting out?? No.

The mod is basically a Beta model. I'm sure it will be fine but people starting out shouldn't be Beta testers for expensive mods. Leave those for collectors, which she may very well become.

That tank is extremely low power and low air. Which some people may like and some won't. Starting out with something so limited could get spendy.

The Subtank Mini can run from low are air up to pretty big air. And from my wife's 8w tootle puffer Nano up to my 40w Verticals.

A Coolfire/STM combo would even allow enough coin for a backup. I'm on the fence about this myself, backups I mean, as todays gear is pretty bulletproof. Lately when I leave the house I take my CF/STM combo and its never let me down. But one could get four complete CF/STM combos for the same money and with four setups I can about guarantee never having a problem.

Another plus that I consider huge and over time the OP may agree with, is the STM can be rebuilt with ease and no additional cost. It may not seem like alot but a four dollar coil every other week is a 100 bucks while the STM's operating cost can be zero.

I say a Evic VTC. It's an all in one, no battery or charger decision.
The 60 Watts is high enough for most standard vaping. Also has a USB pass through.
Form factor is small compared to the Two Battery mods but with a built in 5000 Mah battery
it will go quite a while.
Check it out at your local vape shop see if you like the feel, then go online and you can find them as low as $39.50 for unit alone.
They wanted $75.00 in the brick and mortar vape shops.

Btw I just put my money where my mouth is and bought one. It's on it's way from vapenw.com

My favorite two tanks to pair it with are the Uwell Crown for huge clouds [I'm at 50Watts]and the Tobeco Supertank Mini [I'm at 35 Watts] for
small form factor and less voluminous clouds.
Both are top fill and so far neither has leaked a drop or sputtered.
Solid Tanks.
