Just because an rta has the words, "sub ohm" doesn't mean that it has to be used in that manner. A 1.2 to 1.8 ohm coil does fine. At this moment, I am using a kayfun V4 at 1.1 ohms and 13 watts.
Depends on what you build. 7 watts is a little low but I have RTAs that run beautifully on 10 to 11 watts. A 1.8 ohm build is perfect on 11 watts. But then I am not a cloud chaser so YMMV
Yep, my first "mod" was an mvp 2.0. I built my RTAs at 1.8-2.0 ohm and 11W was fine. So, yes, 6-7W might not be enough, but 10-12W can be. Busardo vapes at 12W
