What's the life expectancy of batts and PT?

I am thinking about getting some extra supplies to put away for a rainy day.

So, if I buy batteries and pt's, how long will they last just sitting in a drawer? Would they still be useable a year or two from now?

The passthru, could last for years if it is not the type that have a battery. The battery will last quite awhile, but should be charged every so often.

Thanks for the reply. I just want a few extra supplies until the fda decides what to do about ecigs. I can always diy the liquid.
