How do you know what is in it?

Dekang is actually a pretty decent juice. There is a video of their lab floating around on the internet somewhere, worth a look.

I know whats in it, because my supplier made it right in front of me. Kinda like when I go to a restaurant. I feel much better, when I can see the cook preparing the food. Does'nt happen often but, it is a bit reassuring.

That's cool you have juice supplier that mixes in front of you. Where do you get it from? I'll pay a visit when I travel through Atlanta next month.

It'd be awesome if they had some Benihana type juice bars where they do tricks as they make your juice - that I would pay to watch. Flicking PG up into their chef hats and making volcanoes out of RBA's. :D

My point was mainly that a lot of the default reaction to Chinese juice is that you don't know what is in it but as it comes from China, it must be an inferior product. This is not always true. I am sure there are some US vendors that literally mix their juices in their kitchens with their kids and dogs watching.

I like the Benihana idea. That would be like soo cool. My supplier is only online. But, I live really close, thats how I found him. I was at the Waffle House and he was dropping off some kits to some people that bought from him. So, being the nosey guy that I am, I started talking to him and ended up buying my latest kit from him. He asked what kind of eliquid I wanted, I told him and he made it right there. Best eliquid I've ever tried. Guess I was lucky. Right Place, Right Time.

As someone who works in the restaurant industry, just because you see them cooking it in front of you doesn't mean they aren't still cooking up crap product. Unless you see the extraction process for the flavors in your juice, you're still mostly running on faith.

Hmm, a supplier who not only carries flavoring, nic liquid and some PG or VG, but then mixes juice in a restaurant. And you are worried about Dekang?

I think I'll take my chances with the Chinese juice my friend. Have you seen how dirty those tables get in the Waffle house?

Each to their own :D

Locally they sell junk juice for $5 for 10ml

I kinda hope you weren't referring to Dekang as "junk." It may not be designer one-off stuff, but depending on your flavour preferences, it is a nice vape.

For the OP, that does seem to be a bit of a steep mark-up.

No by junk I mean tastes like crap

i have a local B&M that charges $7 for 10ml. they say they make it and when i asked what was in it they got tight lipped like i was going to steal their recipe lol. had to show them a bottle i had from vape dudes that listed pg/vg before i got that out of them. they have one chai tea flavor that is really good. i have since started mixing my own and that really isnt cheaper just starting out lol. i still buy from vendors when they have a sale or good prices on sample packs but no more than $5 per 10ml.

I paid $10 or $12 for a 10ml bottle of junk juice from a headshop in Haight/Ashbury once...and only once. That was a few years ago however (and I was just happy to get some juice!). I still get the best prices and selection online but these days when it's a vapemergeny I'll head over to The Vapor Den at Gurrero & Market (SF).
