I ordered my first ecig last night and decided to order some juice. I was tired, so I googled something like "Best tasting e liquids". Near the top was a thread fromt his forum. One of the posters talked about how great DIYflavor shack was, so I looked at their site and saw some that sounded really really good. I mangaged to choose only four of the twelve or so I was drooling over in the small 6ml bottles, ordered them, then went to bed.

I woke up a few hours later couldn't get back to sleep so decided to see if I could find anything else I might need. Within a few minutes I found a couple sites, Vap4Life and E-smokey Treats, with 5ml bottles at about half the price of the 6ml bottles at DIY. (DIY was 5.95 for 6ml 2.00-2.95 for 5ml on other sites) I'm guessing DIYs liquid might be a little more highend maybe?

After panicing a bit that I'd overpayed and kicking myself for not looking closer and at a couple more places before making the order I left a message to cancel the order. Hopefully they'll get that message since both the order and message were left well after/before closing/opening listed on the site.

So before I place another order what's the average price for 5mg of e-liquid and really what's the difference?

Generally, the going rate is about $0.50 a mL for medium (15 to 30 mL) bottles.
More for smaller bottles. I wouldn't say that $1 per mL for 5mL is necessarily overpaying.

There are a lot of variables that make up the actual value, such as flavorant quality, freshness, customization options, etc.

There are also other variables - beyond the list price - that determine the actual cost to you, such as shipping rates and coupon codes.

Depends on where you purchase your ejuice. I'm still new on here so I can't post websites. I found one onlne that sells dekang juice for a decent price and large 50ml sizes as well for about 12.00 a bottle. Shoot me an email and I can give you the website.

xg4bx is correct, litecigusa.net does offer the Chinese Dekang juice for $4.25/10ml. Some are ok, some are pretty good, and some aren't. That's what you'll find from most any juice brand. By the way, litecig offers free shipping on orders over $15, so that's something to figure into your costs. I've ordered from litecig and the service is fast, accurate, and friendly. They also have an Americano juice line. It is more expensive and I haven't tried it though.
I recently bought a bunch of samples from VaporBomb. They're a local company so I don't have to wait when I need juice. Their 5ml samples are $3.95 and 15ml bottles are $7.95, and 30ml for $14.95. They offer free shipping on orders over $59. There again some are pretty good, some I didn't care for.
You asked about the difference in juices. What I've noticed when comparing the Dekang with the VaporBomb is that the Dekang is a bit more harsh. The VaporBomb juice is more mellow but has more flavor. I can't really compare TH or vapor production because they aren't the same PG/VG ratios. Dekang comes only in 100% PG while VaporBomb lets you choose your ratio. All VaporBomb juices are mixed just prior to shipping. I ordered mine online and chose local pickup. When I got there they went back and mixed it for me.
There are many good juice companies, I'd suggest you check out the juice forum on ECF.

I've searched everywhere and the price can vary widely depending on a lot of variables most of which have already been mentioned.

I would say on average prices vary from .30 per ml to 1.00 per ml. Sometimes you can get lucky and find specials. Of course if you buy in bulk you get the best pricing at most vendors but if you're just starting out that's not recommended. You'll most likely wind up with some 30ml bottles you don't care for, then again you have the classifieds here if you build up to many of those. Some places such as tasty vapor and a few others have weekly specials on one or more of their juices. One place I'd recommend that offer quality juices at a great price in smaller bottles is viking vapor. There are also coupon codes that can be found for most places which helps, a great place to find those is linked below although it's not an inclusive listing. Hope that helps

There is a list within this thread where you can find the price per ml of juice from US suppliers: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...non-exhaustive-list-usa-ejuice-suppliers.html

I would recommend buying samples from a number of suppliers when you are first starting. that way you can get a feel for flavors you'll like and the quality from different places. Cheapest isn't always best. If I had only had dekang juices I'm not sure I'd have succeeded.

I don't mind paying a bit more for awesome juice. I like Ms. T's Bakery and DIYflavorshack for quality and flavor. They both hand mix at the time of the order from what I understand and the result is something you really can't argue with.

Strictly ejuice is pretty blah to me, but my tastebuds are whack. Lots of people just love that juice.

I am a recent convert to Freedom Smoke USA. As a 35 year 2 pack/day smoker, I guess I have done some major damage to my taste buds. This is the first juice that I actually taste and enjoy. They have 5 mL bottles for $4 where you can choose your nicotine level and (for most) the PG/VG blend you would like. They also offer smaller 3 mL sampler sizes for $2.25, but you don't get the options with it.

Between buying and the PIF thread I have tried about 25 different companies. Everyone says go with US down with China, well taste is subjective. I know that I stopped buying dark juices they seem to clog up my atties and cartomizers too soon. So that is an added cost. I don't really seem to care for any of the high cost flavors. I sometimes think that people just like them better because in their head they must be better if they are more expensive. My everyday vapes and remember this is after trying a ton of places is Madvapes. Their top vapor is the best I have tried it's cheap and they ship cheap and fast.

TopVapor USA E-Liquid

This is my everyday vape. Very Berry

I'm with Brad. Madvapes has a very good selection with excellent prices. I'm a firm Dekang vaper when it comes to Flue Cured tobacco flavor and their price for 50ml can't be beat IMHO. I also use Freedomsmokeusa for some of thier tobacco flavors. Thier RY4 is very good and the Wyatt Earp is a pleasant vape as well. Keep in mind that with most of the US based juice suppliers they are mixed at the time of the order. Sometimes that can result is some taste that might not be all that great right out of the envelope. For me, I was not really impressed with FSUSAs Wyatt Earp when I first tried it, so I let it sit for a week and then tried it again. The flavor difference was immediate. Much better taste and flavor.

Check the eliquid reviews on the forum for some good selections and prices. Also, keep an eye on the suppliers forum. A lot of suppliers run specials and you can usually hook a good deal on thier line of juices. :2c:
