Hey guys,

So.. I'm about to be placing an order on USPlastics for five 3mL bottles, 10 6mL bottles and 5mL bottles so that I can store all of my good mixtures and keep 'em ready to go.

...and as always, I have a question.. :p

First off, is it better to keep all of my liquids (the VG, nicotine, flavoring, etc) stored in the refrigerator to keep them lasting longer...or does it make a difference whether they are in the refrigerator or not?

I feel its not necessary, and places the items in an unlocked easy access spot begging for a mishap.

All that is required is to keep them in a "locked" container (for safety), a dark area to avoid light exposure and oxidation, and a cool area to preserve the liquids. I have a cold storage in the basement, as well as a crawlspace that serves this purpose.

Shelf life of PG based nicotine is estimated at 2 years (under the above conditions).

I don't believe there has been any final word on VG due to its organic content but stored as above I have VG & VG based nic that has just achieved its 1 year storage life with no obscure visual or flavor reaction.

I'm not sure about flavorings (again with the organic content of natural flavors), but I would suspect a shelf life of a year under those conditions.

Greg

Thanks a ton for the post! I actually have a mini-fridge in my bedroom that I was planning on using for all of my liquids, etc. I'll be buying extra containers pretty soon to actually store the raw liquids in as well (not for any particular reason other than I like everything to be uniform-I have actually been diagnosed with OCD, and this just proves it hahaha). But anyway.. Thanks again for the post!
