Submitted for your approval or just for oohs and ahhs a little something I came up with on a sleepless night... The small one holds 3ml and the big one 4ml. 4 more were harmed and killed in the attempt.
I really didn't care much for the vortex the way they came so I tried this out just for proof of concept and to see if it would work. And maybe give the designers something to think about lol.
I put some plain straight menthol in these and I must say they both perform very nicely and the larger one I am liking so much it is now in my main rotation and is going strong against 2 dual coils that are a week old. All I can say is
:vapor: :vapor: :vapor:
And I guess they shall be christened VorTanks LOL
(unless of course that bothers the creators in which case I'll be open to suggestions ;) )

Harmonics, how about making a Vortank for your little friend Badkolo over here in trade for some more Vortex's and some other cool stuff not many have seen yet.

Vortank It is, its official. The days of vaping have changed Forever, No more 100 bucks tanks, between Maximizers, Vortanks , Turbines and New Triple XXXL Clear Tank things are picking up in the world of super affordable Tank style Cartos and Mods.

I am super impressed Harmonic, great job

Well thank you I'm positively tickled everybody likes it :)
These are just the first ones I have made so far. I wasn't in any hurry since I didn't really care for the vortex right out the box. Too many little hassles and such like the mouthpiece. The first tries leaked all over and I did have some minor problems with the coils not touching the wick usually on the outside leg. Typical vortex issues I am sure.
So far with this design the only way to fill it is to use 2 needles. I work them in next to the tank wall. One I leave open to let the air out, the other fill with a syringe. I have also just poked the needles through the inside rubber seal (air tube to mouthpiece) but it is easy to push in this way. And if it gets pushed in you gotta take the top apart and start over lol.
I also use the exact same setup to make tanks for clear ce2. Ive got a few tricks I learned to get them together and provided the ce2 holds together can usually make them pretty quick. I had odd trouble with the last bunch with the wicks falling off and such.
I don't know if I would give it the 'brick' test but they hold up pretty darn good. You can change the guts but I prefer to superglue the bases (you can still chance it out). Part of why I like the O ring on ce2 base there is no concern of juice getting to the glue. I also sometime leave the mouthpiece tube longer so you don't need a tip on it. But then if you put one on it looks really loooong...
I also want to try this with a dual coil but it needs extra batting and I'm not sure how exactly to work it out. Got some blue foam maybe...
And Badkolo I would be more than happy to um work something out. We will have to talk more ;)

Well if you want bigger I can prolly make them even bigger but I am not sure how big you could go before it leaks. It might not be an issue though. Also the syringe tubes are not the most rigid thing - they are good and solid but you could squeeze it and make some juice leak out. I could try like a 20ml version but I wouldn't be able to fill it up - I only make my juice in 5 or 10 ml batches lol
And I make my ce2 tanks the same - these 2 sizes work best for me mostly xl ce2. They hold about 4 and 5 ml and the bigger one is the same diameter as an epower.
Same deal I can make them even bigger but for me that would be too much and too clunky. And the bigger they are the more you have to worry about will it stay together if you accidentally tag something with it or drop it.
Not as pretty as a MAP or Storm tank but works just as good and no huge price tag. Those tanks also look like they would come apart too easy if you drop it or anything. I don't have any but they all look like they are held together with just friction.

After figuring out how to replace the coil easily in the Vortex, my next project is a VorTank. I have the almost perfect setup, but it's not clear, and I want it clear. Those hard white plastic tubes they put advil and other headache medicine in, found in the travel sections, are almost perfect, except they are not clear.

I guess I'll go to the pharmacy and get some large syringes. I have discovered a 401 carto fits nice and snug over the vortex base, so I'll use one of those to punch out the base for a snug fit that will allow for easy in/out to clean and replace the coil. I'll use 510 carto to punch the gasket, and vortex tubes cut to size through the gasket so I can use the Vortex mouthpiece, because I like them. :)

OK you asked for big so I went to the store to see what I could get off the shelf. I have in my hand a finished tank waiting for a vortex core ( I just haven't got that far yet lol) that will hold 10 ~ 11 ml. Its HUGE. I can stick my thumb in it up to the first knuckle. I am not super happy with the top though because going this big means I have to use multiple stoppers inside each other to make it fit solid. I have another one I'm working on just a bit smaller.
If I use this for an xl ce2 it will hold about 15ml.
When I get a little farther along I'll put up some more pictures....
