What's this about vapers tongue?

I've been vaping for around a month, and have been lurking ecf for awhile, new to the forum, read about vapers tongue. Is this similar to the "wine tasters tongue" when nothing tastes right, and nothing smells right. Just curious. Thanks

When I consider how I punished my poor taste buds with 40 years of smoking, I'm willing to let them have a little time-out now and then. Kidding, really. I'm about a month or so into vaping, and still have trouble tasting the subtle flavors that every one talks about in their juice. I may never have that kind of discerning taste, but that's okay with me. I can taste my current favorites, Cinnamon Roll and Butterscotch!

My guess is yes it is very much the same thing. The best thing we can do for it is to stay well hydrated. This seems to keep it at bay.

Yep it can be as simple as not tasting anything or as awful as everything tastes bad. I had quite a war with my taste buds...we have negotiated a truce.
