I've been vaping now for about a year. I started out with the basic gas station e-cigs then quickly moved up to the Ego and Spinner type battery with clearomizer setups. After seeing some of the very cool higher end mod's out there I'm really wanting to get one! I feel it's time to move up. With much searching / research I've been led to the Precise ELA from Super T Manufacturing. To me this just seems perfect and something that will last me forever. Well now that I finally decided which one I wanted, I realized I had another problem to solve. How in the world can I get one???? So the search begun. After scowering the Internet wouldn't you know it... There it is!!!! A brand new Precise ELA from Super T Manufacturing right there on Ebay!!!! But wait! Now there is a whole new problem. The price!!!! Which brings me to my question. Is the ELA as nice as they say and how much is it worth if you don't want to wait forever to get it?? I've never been the type to be able to wait when I want something! But before I go crazy I want to make sure it's all that! The auction has 5 days left so I have time to stew over this and that's exactly what I'm doing. It is very tempting to be able to get exactly what I want right now! Are there any users of the Precise ELA who can let me know what they would pay for a brand new one if they couldn't get it from Super T and they wanted it right now?? Do you think it's worth it to pay more and if so how much?? Thanks in advance for any help / info.

Well the description of the auction says: It's a brand new, unused Precise ELA by Super-T. It also say's it ships with the receipt and shows a photo of it. Plus The ELA carries a lifetime warranty! Also there are 2 dripping Atty's being sold with it. ((Dripper Pro & Igo-L)) It's very tempting!! I'm not sure where, when, or how else I'll be able to get one of these? Especially a new, unused one anytime soon. I see on Super-T Manufacturing's website that they sell these for $250.00 before shipping (pre-orders only) yet they are not taking pre-orders now. It says (sold out). I've also heard when they do take pre-orders they go fast so, you almost need to know when. Then if you are one of the lucky ones who got your order in you are now in for a 6-month wait despite what the website says!! (I believe it says 10weeks). Also, I just read there are no e-mail notifications from Super T's website! I don't know???? I know that this is the MOD I want! Lol. And this Ebay auction is looking better and better to me by the minute!

At introductory pricing ELAs went for $190. Updating the website to the new "official" price makes me think they will go into production again soon.

Actually, Super-T took preorders for about 6 months before they were sold out. So people had plenty of time to get on board.

And certainly you do get an e-mail notification.

Do you know when they will be taking orders again? Is the wait really 6-months? Have you used this MOD? Do you know of a better or equal quality MOD that is available for purchase right now?

Considering together the quality of workmanship, the innovative design, the materials, the service and support, I don't think there is a better telescopic mod you can buy.

It's pure guesswork when they will come up for sale again. No announcements have been made. Updating the website is just an encouraging sign.

I only waited 4 1/2 months for mine :) I would hold out hope that now the crush to get them is over, and Super-T has learned a few lessons along the way that the wait won't be so bad in the future.

One thing for sure, is that IF I had the money and IF there were not going to be anymore made or could not wait, your money wont be wasted.

If you look at the current re-selling trends, you had the CHi YOu going for over a 1000, the Caravellas also reaching such prices and a couple others, BUT, there are clones galore. SOme good clones, some, well not so good.

SO FAR, there was 1 attempt to clone the ELA, but it NEVER got off the ground. THe quality and wieght, the threads, the simple yet amazing engineering , ease of breakdown can not be replicated with out a lot of cost and time, which the "cloners" will not put into it.

DOnt get me wrong there are some clones that are pretty on the spot, and work as well , with the only difference is the grade of stainless steel and instead of being solid parts they "press multiple parts" so that if you drop lets say an atty base, it might hit the ground and fall into a few pieces where as the genuine might just dent but can still be used.

So, as it stands, there are rumors that ELA is coming back into production in the next year, but with no OFFICIAL announcement. THe one up for auction might go for over 400 but at least its not just a pretty average tube with a cool logo. It out weighs most devices, the features are easy to use. Most people that pay a lot want "logos" and some bling to justify the price so everyone that see's it will say OOOH, and AHHH, or recognize the logo and dang, thats expensive.
THe lack of branding is what drew me to ELA, understated perfection in a Tele.

I cant promise you that it will "blow your mind" or hit like a "freight train" or attest to the voltage drops..... I dont care..... It works for me, its is solid, looks and most of all feels great in hand , and so far have not seen any atomizer that does not look great with it.

So, at least in my opinion, should you get it? YES, if you got the money and it wont hurt your wallet , why not.......

BUT im a bit biased, having just received my second one and never regretting the money spent.

It's a metal tube for God's sake! Granted it's a really well made metal tube and I have no doubt that it one of the tops in it class, but still. I would have payed the $190 it costs before this new price hike and I might be convinced to pay the $250 it now costs, but $400+, I don't think so. There's too many other nice metal tubes out there.

Can you list examples and are they available?

So if they do become available and I can get one, it's going to cost me $250 plus shipping and I'm going to have an unknown waiting period. This one is new with the brass rings that I want and it also comes with a new Dripper Pro and Igo-L. Not sure if I'd like either of those but, Im guessing I could sell if I didn't?? A quick ebay search for the EBaron Dripper Pro show's those are not to cheap.
