What's up guys and girls. Well I just bought my 1st e cig today. It's a EVOD starter kit and it's pretty dam cool. I currently live here in Denver and got all my stuff from Vaporleaf and it was a cool experience. The staff was real nice and knowledgeable and they pretty much let me try every flavor they had until I settled on peach, watermelon, and fruit punch. The kit itself is pretty cool and just learned about this a few weeks ago from some coworkers. I figured I was going to attempt to stop smoking and this seemed like a cool way to try to stop while not completely stopping. Anyways it's nice to meet all you guys.

Thanks for the replies guys. I haven't smoked now for about 6 hrs now and would never have gone that far with out this. Before if I went more than 1hr I would go crazy. So far I'm enjoying my set up and can't wait to go to the store next Saturday. Does anyone know of a good website they would recommend for some accessories like a case and so forth. Thanks for the help

Welcome to ecf. Glad to have you.
Let me tell you that you need to increase your liquid intake. vaping dries you out big time and de-hydration is no joke. So keep you fav bev close at all times. Some will say only to drink water, but I think as long as your are drinking you will be fine.

If you have any questions, please ask. Someone is always home here at ecf 24/7/365

good luck
:)

Thanks for that advice about the liquid intake. I figure it's probably about the same as smoking. Needless to say I'm currently drinking some nice liquid beverages now.

LOL. Well, yes and no. While smoking leaves you with a dry mouth and nasty taste, it doesn't dry you out nearly as much as vaping. With ecigs, the nic is absorbed thru your mouth, nose and throat and very little even gets to the lungs. that's why a lot of members don't even inhale to get their nic fix. It is not required, as I have always inhaled(40+yr habit hard to break), and some prefer to. However, the pg/vg that the nic and flavoring are in are humectant's which actually pull water from the air, mouth, nose and throat to produce the vapor you see. So the more you drink, the better your mouth and throat will feel and your vape will be smoother.

:)

Hi! Congratulations on your first few hours away from those coffin nails!! Keep at it! Evods are great, easy and the juice tastes great out of them... Just be sure to have a back up battery.. charger and topper :)

As far as accessories. . I shop at Mt baker vaper... But there are so many. .. discount vaper, got vapes, mad vapes, little shop of vapors, 101 vapes... It goes on and on. .. Please check out the ecf suppliers forum... You can also see there who is having sales and stuff.
I wish you the very best and vape on and vape happy! :0)

I'm a new member here, too, but I made the full switch to e-cigs over a year ago.

Like you, in the beginning, I continued smoking tobacco when I first tried e-cigs.

One day, I decided to never buy any more tobacco cigarettes. I thought it would be hard, but with e-cigs, it turned out to be much easier than I anticipated.

One thing I recommend when you are ready to make the switch is that you have enough batteries, chargers, and cartridges (or juice) to feel confident that you can go anywhere without running out and being tempted to bum a tobacco cigarette off of someone.

Good luck!

Hello and welcome. I quit almost 2 months ago. I would suggest you do some advanced research into vapors tongue here on the forums. vapors tongue is an unpleasant surprise when you are enjoying your newfound flavors and your taste buds go into shock. LOL. Vaping is great and I quit the same day I bought a variable wattage device. I only had my Ego for less than 48 hours, I really like the VV/VW devices for controlling flavor and temp etc.

Welcome to ECF, which is an addiction in and of itself. LOL.
