Why is damned near every thread in this section locked???

I'm thinking it might be related to the stated purpose in the sticky on page 1.

This is where we post our tips and tricks, versus discuss them? It would be nice for clarification though.

Look at the dates of the last post in the closed threads.

The system Auto Closes threads at 90 days.
