wasn't quite sure where the best place was to ask this :)

i know there are some of you out there that lock up your supplies to keep them away from curious hands.

what types of things have you found?

mind you, this isn't for travel, but mainly for home storage, be it for your arsenal or just for you juice.

me personally, i'm more looking for something just to lock up juice.

i'm beginning my internet searches...NOW. ;)

For my flavors and carts that I plan to use during the week, I've been using a locking metal pencil box from Vaultz that I picked up at Staples. For the rest of my liquid I keep it in an index card box by the same company. I've used them in the past to store my PSP, DS Lite and MP3 player and they've worked out great.

With a little creative thinking, some cardboard, AC filter and a sharp razor you can easily customize these boxes. The one I slapped together today will hold 15 of the 3ml sample bottles as well as a bunch of carts, a pair of tweezers and a syringe (both are under the cart area in my pics) plus various other small things. This one is going to be my cart filling station when completed.

Vaultz (ideastreamproducts.com vaultz Vproduct.html (replace spaces with /)) makes these locking metal boxes in various colors/patterns and sizes.

thanks so far, and joker, those Vaultz boxes were what i was looking at :) i saw one at the ol walmart that would be a good size (index card size) for some bigger bottles. seems the issue is most of these are flatter than they are tall though. i don't have a big need to keep them locked up, as i don't have animals or kids, but just when my niece visits, or if people get curious and start touching things, i don't want them getting nic on their hands, hehe.

that or drinking my bottles....!

Flitz check around a bit. Vaultz makes one for DVDs, camcorders and even a small slide out CD cabinet. Either one of these would most likely be tall enough to provide multiple layers of bottles. If you want something crazy big then check out their legal boxes (they even have one with wheels...mmm mobile juice collection *drools* ) or toolboxes.

so, i found a great bargain and great sized box.

so..run out to Office Depot before they close on Saturday, cuz sale ends then.

well, it's regular 19.99 and i got it for 14.99, and the same case is at walmart for 29.99 just fyi.

here's a couple shots, it's a dial lock and you can set your own 3 digit code. i figured people know how big a cd is to measure it to, as i can't seem to find my ruler to tell you dimensions. the UPC is 8 26030 00102 8 and model VZ00102 oh and has a carry handle :)

I got a fireproof box at home depot for 27.99 (the vapers club guys make fun of me cause I have a 1TB external drive I took OUT of this box just to put my juice in it!).

pssh, that 1TB drive isn't worth as much as vaping supplies ;)

um, spikey, you don't shove that whole fireproof box, um, well, in your shirt do you....like your other ecigs?

I only use the lock box for juice w/nic.. doesn't fit everything else.

HD is worth much more... has my whole client history for 15 years backed up on it.

I took your advice and got one of these. Thanks for the tip. :)

glad i could help! it's pretty roomy inside. as others have mentioned, i need to work out some foam layers, i think with planning, one could fit A LOT inside that thing and keep it secure.

I'm using a 'vaultz' for liquids 'on hand,' and a cash lockbox for 'not touching any time soon.' The Vaultz box isn't anything special, other than it costing much more than the regular index card boxes I'd originally gone looking for :D

Where have you guys found foam for purchase though? (like to fill a box with then cut out for inserts)

you can find regular foam at most hobby stores and even fabric stores. i think fabric stores may be cheaper, i know i found a huge roll of it at one for 50% off one day. i'm lucky with bargains :)

as for solid foam (not the spongy stuff) i bought those interlocking mats that people use for workshops, or there's a similar one for kids. i'll have to find a link if you need one, but it's basically like 4-6 squares that are about 1/2" thick, they all fit together to make a large square mat.

Huh, cool, will have to look for that. I've got bits of the 'not so dense foam,' but I'd prefer something denser, like you might make a tool drawer to hold tools from...I've seen people 'glue together pieces,' but that's not really what I'm after, like the 'do it once right' and clean fit..until of course, I realize 'it's wrong' :D
