I went to Altsmoke to purchase a Silver Bullet and I clicked on 'Kits' - Silver Bullet Kit, where it said for $99 you get 1 Silver Bullet 510 with No batteries, Chargers, Atomizer, etc. Doesn't a 'Kit' usually include at least one of those things? I don't see where they sell an SB actually set up and ready to use. Anyone know more about this?

HMM - I paid about 130.00 for the kit. If I remember correctly, the 99.00 was for the SB only.

edit - I just went to the site and I see what you are talking about. I DO think there is a little problem on the site. I just know from when I ordered mine, the kit was somewhere around 130.00.

You should put up a thread in the Altsmoke forum to let him know.

I went to the 'Help and Support' on the Alt Smoke site and got the run-around, with no way to contact them. Does anyone else sell the Silver Bullet that might look like they're actually in business?

I know you must be frustrated, but I have to tell you, Rob is the one of the nicest guys around. Incredible customer service! PM him - his ID is HALOPUNKER. He will answer you as soon as he reads it.

I believe the SB was a joint venture between Rob and CDDZ.. It is a superb device. You will not be sorry.

I am in no way affiliated with Altsmoke, I am just a happy customer. :)

I just went to the site to refresh my memory - right above 'help and support' - there is a 'contact us' box - click on it - you can leave a message there and Rob will get back to you.

As my 3 yr old Granddaughter says (when I get stressed) -'wewax Mimi'.:)

The Silver Bullet is a mod PV made by Rob over at altsmoke.com- It is a bad ... machine. It has the ability to vape at normal 3.7v with a 18650 battery or can vape at 6v with 2 CR123a batteries. I believe the first version was the "kit" which included batteries charger attys and whatever else. The second version of the Silver Bullet was just released as v1.1. It was pretty much pre-order only. The "kit" is a typo or just left up from the first version (1.0). For the second version (1.1) the decide to lower the price of the unit and let people add attys, batteries, chargers, adapter as needed. They said most people have the majority of these parts already and and didn't force these people to pay a higher price for items they already had. This latest version was just release last week and believe they are sold-out or they might be doing another small pre-order for some extras that are left over. If you want a Silver Bullet- I would go to AltSmoke sub forum and you can find out any information you need.

I absolutely LOVE my Silver Bullet, it is my first mod and I have been vaping at 6v non stop and love it. At first I though I would fry my attys almost instantly- well thats not the case- I find my attys love the HV and perform alot better than they did at 3.7 or whatever voltage standard 510 or 801 bats put out. I highly recommend the silver bullet to anyone that want versatility- I have the choice of 3.7 or 6v. I also bought an adapter from altsmoke also so not only can I vape at those different voltages I can use my 510 attys or my 801 attys. Got it all shipped to my door for a little over $100. I think it might be to late for people that missed the pre-order but I don't know go to the sub-fourm- Rob is a super nice guy and makes very high quality affordable mods.

youngunner, I appreciate your information, but one should be able to find out everything on the AltSmoke site that sells the Silver Bullet. It's only logical to expect the seller's site to explain everything, and not to have to search out a forum to do that job. Since AltSmoke doesn't explain things, I hope through many posts and questions to get to the basics of just what's for sale on their site, what their definition of a 'kit' is, and what their basic model is (501, 901, or 801?).

..........Did you use it at 3.7v.? If so, how did it perform? I just got one with the 3.7v batteries, but it doesn't put out as well as the regular 510, 901 or 801 stock e-cigs. I'm wondering if I have a problem unit...Will be sending it back for inspection.

...what their definition of a 'kit' is...

But that's the whole point WTF!

It is exactly what the customer wants, that the customer decides, to purchase for their 'Kit.'

Most supplier's/products when offering kits for sale, do not have this option(s).

E.g. if you have plenty of atomisers already, you don't need to buy any.
If you don't like using carts, don't buy any...
etc.

And it would be virtually impossible to have a 'standard kit' anyway, as there are so many variables with the Silver Bullet...

Ok, let's walk through the ordering process and see where one would get confused.

1) Type in the website
2) click the pretty picture of the silver bullet
3) select which model you want. (you have one choice, 510)
4) select which additional parts you want. (batteries, charger, attys, etc)
5) Look at REAL TIME price at the bottom
6) Hit "add to cart"

I'm really not sure where AltSmoke would need to explain anything. No offense, but it's not their fault if you can't handle ordering something online without someone holding your hand through the process.

toby and mcl500, I hope I can help you understand. For those who've bought Kits, we expect to see a Kit, not a bare bullet. Maybe I really did just miss it, but where does the site allude to "building your own kit". If I missed it, I apologize.

Three weeks ago as a newbie I bought a JOYE 510, I had no idea what I needed, so the "Kit'' was a godsend. From that Kit I learned about attys, batteries, and carts.

When I went to AltSmoke I expected at minimum to see from the "Kit" which atomizer the SB was built for, so I'd know if I needed an adapter. There was no Kit, so there was no information about that. I looked around but couldn't find the info. Finally I came to the Forum and someone somewhere revealed that the SB is made to fit the 510 atomizers. Should that info not appear on the SB sales site? Does it? I'm sorry if I missed it.

Rob certainly has a right to make his Silver Bullet site any way he wants it to be. I simply found it unclear enough to frustrate my attempt to make a purchase.
