Actually, it used to have that all the time - then once they switched to the new server they were gone. I guess they finally got around to putting them back up or something... I don't mind them, the only vendor I use is V4L, I just ignore the rest 
And I am sure it is a paid advertisement of some sort to help support the board...and anything that keeps this board going is ok with me!

I never noticed them before. I consider them very irritating, I don't recall them being right in the middle of the posts, but i do recall them being beside or above? Right in the middle is starting to tax my calm demeanor.
I'm not seeing any. Not sure whether that's due to AdBlock or the paid membership thing.
They aren't TOO annoying and probably help pay the freight here. I am guessing that paid members don't see them. C'est la vie. It is what it is.
Yes, I don't see them as a paid supporter of this forum. But I know in other forums, I do see them. The ads usually attach themselves to key words, so if you type "e-cig" in your post, an ad for an e-cig will display. At least that's how it works in other forums I'm a member of. And yes, it helps to pay for the hosting of the forum.
They run the ads to make money so we can use this forum. Doesn't bother me at all. Actually I wish I thought of it.
It's worth the 20 bucks a year to me not to have to see ads. Plus I never would have found V4L if not for this forum, so money well spent!
