What's wrong with people - Thiefs

Went to a vape shop today for a special vapefest they were having. Was enjoying myself, made a purchase of a Siglei 20W for myself and a Innokin 134 mini for my wife. I won the grand price, which was an Innokin SVD. Had my 2 month old Provari (LE red with blue LED) sitting in my case next to my wife and some thief stole it as she was standing right next to it! They also stole from the shop a Innokin VTR, a Blade mod and an Ivape 5. What is wrong with people?

If anyone sees a Red Provari with extended cap and Blue LED in SE Kansas it might be stolen! It had a new AW 18650 and a nautilus on the top. I can't imagine there's too many of these in SE Kansas (Pittsburg, KS) area.

I am so bummed.

P.S. They had cameras but their DVR broke a couple of days ago. No video evidence of anything.

Hate hearing this. No matter the equipment or cost, Theft leaves behind an extended trauma that takes quite some time to fully get over. Wish you and the store owners the best and hope the perp/perps get their just rewards.

Damn, I am so sorry to hear this happened to you! DEPLORABLE!! This is a fairly significant loss between the Provari, Nautilus and new batteries, and I sure hope that you get some kind of justice for this.

Ugh, sorry this happened to you. Just a thought, if you have certain types of home insurance, you might be able to make a claim. Not sure if it makes sense to do so, just throwing it out there.

Sorry for you loss! Lots of places put up those fake cameras that don't even actually work. This may be the case here.

Completely not worth it. If it's not $2k it's not worth making a home owners claim. That is not a group of folks to mess with. They have a database and once you hit three claims it gets extremely expensive to get insured.

I know a guy who's house was broken into and his large padlock cutters were stolen along with all his electronics. The kid that broke into his place got severely electrocuted while attempting to steal copper wires in a small manufacture. He tried to cut the 600V wires OVER the breaker box . Last news is that his arms were black (which normally means you gotta cut 'em off). I don't really wish that to anyone...

I wouldn't wish that on anyone other than someone who was a thief, seems kind of fitting for them though.

Actually there are a couple of other criminal types I would wish that on but this is not the place for that.

I unknowingly dropped my change purse with couple credit cards, driver's license, and $20 at my local B & M grand opening last fall. Place was packed.

Left to do more shopping and about an hour later discovered the change purse was missing. Went back to B & M and the grinning manager said he had something that I might want. Yes indeed, a woman had picked up that change purse and turned it over to the manager. Everything, including the $20, was still in there. Never did find out who the woman was so I could thank her and at least buy her a favorite juice and tank!

I'd like to think there are many more good hearted people than thieves in this world, and do believe "what goes around, comes around". Agree with you, Rat2, "Karma" really does happen.

Wow, I'd be so upset if my Provari was taken. That must suck so much. My half sister is still in school, and she goes with a pack of theives apparently. She's had two who's stolen so far, with Mini Protanks on top. Each stolen on a different day from the same class, and neither was touched with one of her cheaper plastic tanks on top. Only the glass tanks.

That's painfully horrible. It's sad enough loosing a mod because of its old age but she was so young with so much life and love left to give....
