Hey all,

I actually been vaping for a long long time. Life got in the way of researching the latest n greatest products on ECF for the last 2-3 years. I think the thrill of the research and chase is as good or better then getting that new device in the mail. And i am ready for a new one.

Basically ive been vaping a reo grande bottom feeder mod. I recently purchased a reo vv along with a rebuildable atomizer - wow the rba is an awesome leap forward in vaping. I enjoy these two pieces n i think i chucked 20 kits from back in the day out.

Whats the next step : anyone have opinions as to a top 2 device on the ultra high end price, medium price, low price. I must say these electronics scare me with my e cig. My reo grande which i had for years is a trooper and has been through war and is 100 percent mechanical. I know the reo vv is partially electronic.

Now i loved juice feeders - i hate the hassle of dripping - as we all know its fun sometimes at night in front of tv. However i am reading about these tanks now - i missed out on the tank invasion and have never tried one. is using a tank similar to dripping. Do you buy a couple tanks and vape them and can you replace the atomizer inside the tank ? If so what are some of the best tanks to use?

Ive read about variable wattage and this concept seems appealing - but electronics scare me -

At end of the day i am looking for something with some more taste than my reo w rba is providing me or just something different. I love reos for their unmatched durability but im ready to start to hunt for new machine. Preferably a low maintenance one. Well if anyone can throw out some devices to check out or tanks to look into or atomizers to look into thats new id be very thankful or even old that i havent tried yet. I try to find this out on the forum but as we all know it has grown so much and we get sidetracked off topic or the thread gets diluted.

Been vaping for 5 years.

Thanks,

Scott

I used to own a feedimus woodimus - it was a wood mood that you would have to turn upside down to re wet the cartomizer or atomizer you were using. Affer paying 200 bucks for it n sending it back 5 times to be fixed i was done with it. But i must say the taste was amazing with a lr 306 atomizer - i think primarily cause ya had to turn it upside down to rewet atomizer - i miss that flavor. I loooove my reos for simplicity and durability after pissing money away on other mods that have broken - ive been using an rba with it for the last month and it has been a giant leap forward in taste but still searching for other options as well.

kinda hard to really make any sort of list, if you have been away for a while things are no longer the way they were a few years back and the scene as well as the amount of manufacturers has exploded exponentially.

i remember back in the day as well, something came along and grabbed the spotlight for a while until something else came along, it was easy to vanish for a few months and come back and get a list of the 3 or 4 things that happened in the time you were gone, now, new products appear weekly if not daily.

the best thing to do is just start cruising and clicking

mods and mechanicals pop up in the apv section
rebuildables in the rba.
general gets a lot of new equipment chatter.
reviewers on you tube like
Pbusardo
Todd's reviews
igetcha69
grimmgreen
riptripper
help a lot and have new reviews almost daily

really man if you have been gone that long there is no way to even describe the way the dam burst about 18 months ago, equipment wise right now is a very exciting time for vaping.

right now my faves are the kayfun/taifun and genesis attys but they are all rebuildables.

Listen I know exactly how you feel my friend. I was using a kr808 pen style for a while and did mot keep up with the ever evolving world of vaping. Recently came back to the ecig forum, and had a similar post to yours. I received a few good suggestions but one specifically stood out. Someone replied to my post advising to get an innoken itaste vv/vw. This was definitely an upgrade from my kr808. It is considered a PV (personal vaper) but don't believe it is classified as an APV (advanced personal vaper). The APV'S have a box style battery compared to a PV which is a cigar style bigger battery. If you do not want a huge box style (similar to a pack of cigs) then I would get the innoken. I have been VERY satisfied with mine and continue to thank the individual who advised me of it. VV/VW basically identifies you can adjust the watts and volts to your preference for the best vape possible. This is my preference/suggestion however as the previous member verified, you need to do your research and make the best decision for you. Good Luck my friend:vapor:

Over time I've collected enough "latest and greatest" that the zombie box is full to the brim. Most of which may have been the latest, but it damn sure wasn't the greatest. (at least not for me)
So while I will read the threads about the latest & greatest with interest, I have no interest in buying any. I already have what I want.

I've only been vaping for 6 months. I tried it 4 or 5 years ago and can't imagine how anyone managed to actually quit on the devices back then. It was $100 wasted for me so I was very leary when my brother-in-law showed up one Saturday with a Smok Winder and EVOD tank. I didn't care for his tobacco flavor but I could tell by the amount of vapor he was getting that technology had finally caught up so the following Monday, I went out and bought a make your own ego kit--2 650 mah Joyetech ego-C Twists, an iClear 16 and EVOD clearos & charger.

I think you are going to be blown away by how much simpler the devices are now to use & maintain. Start simple with a Twist/Winder/Spinner and EVOD. If you like tank cracker flavors, use a Mini Protank instead or buy both--the coils are interchangeable.

If you want to step up from that, I graduated to an iTaste VV3. I wanted to play with Variable Wattage, wanted a pass through & I needed an ohm meter. All in one cheap tiny package! MVP 2.0 is also a very good value but is too heavy for me.

I am seriously considering getting into small simple drippers but only to test my DIY liquids. I'm still not cool/progressive enough for the big boys and I doubt I ever will be. The mini models are the only ones that interest me at this point but I'm still very satisfied with my VV3's--the first one got lonely--and using my Twists as backups. I'm laid off right now so the KR808 kit is, too.
