More specifically referring mod and battery functions, such as variable voltage, variable wattage, bypass/direct, constant, TC and the like

I'm a simple MTL RTA and nic salts guy; that values compactness with good battery life. That's why I use small tanks on ego one batteries with constant voltage turned on(I also don't like displays on my vape gear, so they work well for that too).

I don't mind sacrificing features such as TC or even VW if it means keeping the size of the device smaller, although I really do like the idea of variable voltage

But that's just me. Curious what style you guys vape in and what kind of features you prefer or even ignore on your devices

I’m normally DL RTA or squonk. I don’t particularly trust nic salts myself. There’s several orders of magnitude less research done on them than on normal nic.
That said I bought some MTL stuff recently because I have a long car trip to do and need something that won’t discomfit the other occupant. I bought an innokin zenith and a juul competitor (I’ve already forgotten the name) for testing. I find the innokin zenith to be the run away winner. I’m actually using it as my every day vape now, and likely will until at least after Christmas.

If you want tc in a pod package the lost vape Orion may be up your alley.

At Home -->Kayfun Prime clone from YFTK with SS coil at 420degF between 8-12W on a Aspire NX75-A or a Lost Vape Mirage.
Out & About-->Aspire Breeze 1

Runner ups-->

I also have SXK Doggy RTA and Galaxies RDTA but they've been packed away since I got the Prime. The Prime is soooo much better.

I love the Eleaf Pico 75W, especially for the small height. But the NX75-A is much higher quality. The "A" version of the NX75 is CNC machined from a block of aluminum (not the "Z" version that is cast zinc alloy). Also the TC is better on the NX75 with the 7th firmware... though not as good as the DNA 75C board in the Mirage.

I'm a novice who has Zenith tanks on an Innokin Kroma-A, a Pico 25, and soon a JAC Vapour Sandstorm (I'm also lusting after a Dicodes Dani Mini, but it's way too rich for my blood). I also will soon be dripping with an Avid Vaper bridgeless atomizer on a regular Pico. And I'm almost certainly going to get a couple Nautilus 2S tanks at some point, unless the consensus is they're not great.

I love variable wattage and adjust it regularly to suit my mood, the state of my throat, the vigor of my battery, and the juice level in my tank. It's amazing what a difference just .1W can make.

    Usually for me its a sjmy doggystyle RTA (love the larger airflow) built at around 0.5 ohms. This usually sits on a pico 75w at 15 watts.

    I vape loose mtl but love airflow, so my style is probably restricted lung hit.

    Recently tried the vaporesso tarot baby mod, which uses the omni 4 chip and I'm in love with the vape this chip gives. So I've also got a doggy RTA on the tarot baby ;)

    If you’ve already got an innokin zenith I’m not sure a 2s will gain you much. My understanding is they’re pretty comparable devices. I may buy one for my sister merely because she already has a bunch of regular nautilus 2 heads.

    @bombastinator, I already hate the fact that you have to empty the tank to change the coil, but I am seduced by their prettiness.
    You do? Uh oh. I didn’t. I just made sure that the juice didn’t reach the vent holes when I turned it upside down. True, I wouldn’t want to do it if it was dead full, but I did it when the juice line was at the top of the glass and it was totally fine

    Been vaping for a long time and just don’t have time or desire to build anymore. Just picked up a Vaporesso Revenger and Polar. Just been using the NRG and Cascade baby SE that come with them. Good flavor and clouds, been jumping back and forth between the mesh and GT8 coils. I am a variable wattage guy and don’t care about TC or any of the other stuff. I am a sucker for a solidly built mod, a nice screen and simple operation.

    Loving my evic primo mini Fit. Use a Zenith @ 8.5. Waiting for Replay on a similar type mod, doubt it'll ever happen tho. I'm also willing to try regular tc if I could find a good tank.

    Waited forever for the Istick, waited forever for the Zenith...
    Are there zenith coil heads that will tc?

    I'm not much of a bells and whistle kind of guy. However, IMO, there is not a perfect vape, just the right vape for a particular situation.

    Home - big tanks, big mods, lots of time between charging and filling. (Kayfun on a single battery mod)
    Out and about - small discreet stealthy - Nautilus AIO fits the bill (or a simple ego/evod or Istick Basic).
    Bedside - An Istick 10w (acts like a little flashlight in the dark) with a T3 mini.

    Hey, if that works, who cares what Aspire says you have to do?

    I use a HCigar VT75C (DNA 75 Color board) with a Serpent SMM Tank, single coil round SS316L @ 0.5 Ohms in TC Mode 435F. All day every day for over a year now. I recently bought 3 more VT75C's (still unopened in box) as backup's to make sure I have this setup for years to come. I do occasionally use a Hadaly and an Entheon Dripper with the same coils and at the same temp as the SMM.

    I am a Chimera (or hybrid) vaper which means I use DL style tanks/drippers with a restrictive drip tip and partially closed air flow and vape these DL tops as loose MTL. I do this because I prefer MTL style but most MTL specific toppers have WAY too restrictive air flow for me. I'm just not interested in trying to suck a golf ball though a garden hose just to get a little vapor.

    ...or a simple ego/evod...

    I didn't know you could still get those. I used that setup for quite a while until I got my first real mod. They worked for their purpose when I used them, but the air flow was too tight IMHO. I don't think I would want to go back to it, but would if I had to.

    What @Letitia said, and in the Zenith thread someone said that Innokin has no plans to provide any.

    That is what pisses me off about so many companies. They make a mod and use TC as a selling point then pair it with a tank that they don't even make TC coils for. It's one of the primary reasons I don't buy "kits" or use tanks with swap in coil heads.

    Actually eLeaf is the only company I can think of off the top of my head that makes a TC capable coil head. I will say that one eLeaf head is compatible with a lot of other brand tanks including the SMOK BB and BBB tanks.
