MTL, the tight kind, like 1mm tot 1,2mm af holes, none of that 1,2mm hole into a 2mm tube nonsense.
Been off vaping for a while, but just got back to it with a simple Nautilus AIO with nicsalts, to not have to bother with rebuilding and rewicking. But I'm getting more and more tempted to go back.
I have a Jac Vapour with a KF Prime and a Wismec VaporFlask Lite running either a Dvarw MTL clone or a KFv3M. I like to run both in TC, although the VF TC is super sketchy and obviously the KFv3M is sketch, as well, TC-wise.

In the past I tried all the things; egos, clearos, gennies, dripping, mechs, squonking, cloudsbro.
I didn't choose the tootle puff life, the tootle puff life chose me.

And remember, kids, you're only a real tootle puffer if your nic level is higher than your wattage and your tank size is smaller than your ohmage.
(Slightly old-timey tank and ohmage joke. TPD, though...)

Aspire, Uwell, Vaporesso, Smok are just a few that provide tc capable coils.
I thought all SMOK coils used Kanthal coils?

Out of all their tanks, the only Smok brand TC coil I am aware of was for the old and no longer made TFV-4.
I forgot about Uwell but they don't make mods do they?

I'm generally a MTL guy alternating between my Zenith and Nautilus 2 tank. Mod wise I currently have a Zelos and an NX75.

With that said I have a Horizontech Falcon coming for Xmas from the other half so I have bought a Voopoo Drag mini to power it. Have tried the U-Force T2 tank with the N1 coil but don't find the taste to be that great and then the tank jumped all of its juice over night last night so doubt I will be using it that much.

Edit: disassembled the Uforce, cleaned it, checked all O rings and re-assembled. It's now vaping much better so seems like I did something wrong!

I'm a DL, medium-wattage (30 watts) vaper. For the past year I've been using two JAC Vapor series B DNA75W with Original Uwell Crown Clearomizer Tank. Being that the replacement coils seem to be getting slightly difficult to find lately, I'm on the lookout for a newer tank that uses replacement coils in the wattage range that I use. I like smaller setups that feel good in the hand and are pocket-friendly.

I've been using the Geekvape Mini Aegis and Cerberus tank for the last couple of weeks in order to do a review for Geekvape. Tank seems pretty impressive so far.

They do have ss coils but I'm not sure for recent editions. Quit using them. Point is quite a few companies have ss coils available. Simple google search will lead you to them. Freemax also is known for having ss coils.

What kind of mod is the first one? - nice and classic looking!
on the left Lost Vape Paranormal, right is a Lost Vape Therion; both DNA devices.
My future son-in-law just got the Paranormal. Spent last weekend with him and it is indeed a nice and classic looking mod. Felt good in the hand and not too large/heavy for a dual battery mod.

I'm not fond of the Para's looks myself. Works well but would much rather have a Therion with the same chip.

I use several KFL's plus a couple of Lemos, a STM and a Nautilus. Pico's, Provari 2.5's, an SVD and a Jac.

A couple of the KFL's have SS coils and work in TC on the Jac and a Pico.

I like a little variety, but not too much. The Lemos and STM are a bit airier and I use them at slightly higher power.

Apart from the SVD and the Jac I've got a bunch of everything with spare parts so I'll never run out. The only new stuff I got this year was the STM. That's new as in new to me. I really can't be bothered with new gear. I'm sure there is stuff out there I would really like but I ran out of energy to experiment. What I've got works fine.

I don't want to highjack this thread, but have a quick question. Why would you use a Mech as opposed to a vw mod? I'm under the impression that you have no control when your voltage drops, wouldn't that change the vape flavour all the time?
The wattage spread isn't that great with my vaping style. For example, I currently have a 0.84 ohm coil running on my dotsquonk. With a fresh battery in the morning, and figuring in some minimal voltage drop, it's running around 20 watts --- and it's still putting out 17 watts or better (3.8+v) when I swap batteries the next morning. But then I'm also perfectly happy vaping a 1 ohm coil from around 16 down to 14 watts.

It's simple and works for me. I do have a couple DNA75 mods, but they mostly sit idle.

Curious what style you guys vape in and what kind of features you prefer or even ignore on your devices
Mine hasn't changed much in a year and a half. MTL, ~0.5 ohms, 8.5-9.5W. But it's a loose MTL - I prefer to control the pace, and don't want the atty limiting it for me. Tight drawing atties tend to limit the proper air/vapor mix for me, and reduces throat hit. The draw on the SJMY doggy is perfect for me, and all I currently use.

And I ignore just about every feature of mods except battery level and wattage. About the only feature I want to try is DNA Replay, but haven't seen a small enough mod I like that uses it yet (Orion is close, but a pod).

Okay, so what makes you use the mech over a vw mod then?

I see a lot of people mention the "Dvarw" in this and other threads. Is that even a pronounceable word? If so how it is it pronounced?
Before I got mine, I remember a video (don't know which- maybe Jai Haze?), that explained it's pronounced Dwarv, in spite of the spelling. Hungarian spelling, I guess.
